1 Tri-Window Foldover Tutorial August/September 2009 Just paper, ink, stamps and punches. It just doesn t get any easier! The fun of this fold is the multiple windows -- every fold is a delight! Although I took many pictures, this is surprisingly easy -- it took me longer to decide what to have show through the punched windows than to actually make the card! Supplies: - 8-½" x 11" cardstock - Stamps for Decoration - Stamps for showing through Punched Windows - Ink - 2 or 3 Small Punches - Paper Trimmer - Scoring Tool, Scoring Blade or Bone Folder - 4 Pieces of 4" x 3-³ ₈" White or Neutral Cardstock - Pencil - Optional: Stamp Positioner Step One: Score the 8-½" x 11" piece of cardstock in half lengthwise. Step Two: Score the cardstock at both ends at 3-⁵ ₈", creating 6 panels. A portion of the glossy card stock that will become the ground.

Fold the top over the center and flatten the fold with the bone folder. Punch a window in the first (left) panel with one of the punches. Fold the right panel in and flatten score line with bone folder to flatten. Fold the last fold in and flatten with the bone folder. To create a window on the first panel, open the top flap and place one of the white cardstock pieces on the cardstock flap (with ¹ ₈" around the edges). Carefully close the panel, trying not to move the white cardstock.

Punch a window in the second (top) panel with one of the punches.

To create a window on the second panel, open the top flap and place one of the white cardstock pieces on the cardstock flap beneath it in position (with 1/8 around the edges). Carefully close the panel, trying not to move the white cardstock. Using the pencil lines as a guide, punch the shape out of the white cardstock. Check the placement of the punch over the first panel to make sure it is positioned properly. Punch a window in the second (top) panel with one of the punches. Be careful to place the punch so that it does not overlap under the first punched area. Use the pencil to trace the punched hole on the white cardstock.

Line up the 4 punched white cardstock pieces in order on the work surface.

Decorate the second white panel as desired, keeping in mind what you are planning for the window area. Adhere to flap. Place the fourth panel in place and stamp the images through the third panel window onto it.
