He orgnize flg ommittee me up of 15 memers of Prliment from the five politil prties represente in the House of Commons. The ommittee s jo ws to fin flg esign tht woul ppel to ll Cnins. As well s getting vie from flg experts, the flg ommittee ske Cnins for their suggestions. Thousns of people sent in ies. The flg ommittee room ws soon fille with gs n gs of mil ontining letters n rwings from ross Cn, n even from Cnins living outsie the ountry. First the ommittee ivie its fvourite esigns into three groups: versions of the Re Ensign, flgs with single mple lef n ones with numer of mple leves. Then the ommittee h to hoose one of these groups. The ommittee memers were from five ifferent politil prties, so imgine how surprise they were when the votes were ounte n they h ll hosen the sme tegory the single mple lef.
