Flying eese (F) Unit eneral irections Follow these directions to create all Flying eese Units using indicated pieces. ach Flying eese (F) Unit requires 1 Rectangle and 2 Squares.

Place a Square on one end of the Rectangle Left Square Rectangle Right Square and sew just next to the diagonal line, on the side of the line that will fall in the seam allowance.

* TP: By sewing next to the line, rather than on it, you will allow just enough room for the fold in the fabric,resulting in a more accurate Flying eese Unit.

5 Final Runner ssembly nstructions 1. Sew together triangles, HST Units, and Flying eese Units into rows according to Fig.2. Press seams to one side within each row, according to arrows. 2. Sew rows together, matching seams. Tip: f pressed correctly, seams should nest together. Press seams OPN between rows. 3. Trim selvage ends from the two pieces cut for backing. Sew together, end to end, to create one piece, 18 x 84. Trim to 18 x 60 (approx.). 4. Layer Tablerunner with batting and backing. 5. Quilt as desired. 6. Sew together strips cut for binding using bias seams (45 ). Bind the Tablerunner using your preferred method.
