First up is the card that I remade from the release of the "Made With Love" Kit

1 Good Morning to all you Stamp Tv Kit Addicts! :) Hope you all have had a good week and found a little time to get inky! So last week Selina asked about Distressing on cards! She liked the one that was created from the new STV Kit 'Made With Love" So I recreated it and made a new one as well for you all! Here are the card projects we will be creating today! <3 First up is the card that I remade from the release of the "Made With Love" Kit

2 ******************************** Here are the following Supplies I used to make this card: * Stamp Set: "Better With You" From the New Stamp Tv Kit "Made With Love" By: Gina K. Designs * Pure Luxury Card Stock: Dark Chocolate, Sweet Mango, Blue Lagoon, White Layering Weight * Patterned Paper Pack: Made With Love *Premium Dye Ink: Sweet Corn, Sweet Mango, Tomato Soup, Kraft, & Dark Chocolate *Brads, Button, and Twine Embossing Folder, 3D Foam Squares, Sponge Dauber, Acrylic Blocks from my Stash Dk. Chocolate - Card Base Sweet mango - 4" x 5 1/4" Patterned Paper - 3 3/4" x 5" Blue Lagoon Layer - Started at 3" x 4" tore off edge all the way around so it is about 1/4" to 1/2" small all the way around. White focal layer - 2 3/4" x 3 1/2" Second photo: You want to sponge on a layer of color to give the paper a aged look. I used the Kraft ink and a sponge dauber. Just started around the edges and worked my way to the center! I love how the edges get darker!

3 ******************* The Blue Lagoon Layer is Embossed with a heart folder. then I sponged on the Sweet Corn in the center. I wanted it to have a nice glow behind the bike. Then stamped the image and greeting with the Dk. Chocolate Ink

4 ************************************* Then added the Sweet Mango and just a small amount of Tomato Soup

5 to the edges! we will add more shortly! Then I roughed up the sides. You come out with pretty close the same result if you use the scissors or the cool little tool.

6 ************************ On the Blue Lagoon layer I used the sponge dauber and applied

7 the Kraft Ink and some Dk. Choc. Next it was time tear the edges of the Blue Lagoon Layer. If You just want to rough up the edges like the other panel the works fine too! I wanted it a little more rough looking. After tearing it, I went back with the Dk. Chocolate and sponged all around the edges with a light hand! Added the brads to the Focal Image, wrapped the twine around the paper putting a end through the button and tying it together. Added Sweet Mango layer to the inside and stamped the back!

8 **************************************************************************************** For this second card I used two set from previous STV Kits.

9 Here are the supplies that were used to create this card project: * Stamp Set: "Birthday Blessings" and "Ship To Shore" By: Gina K Designs * Pure Luxury Card Stock: In The Navy, Powder Blue, Kraft * Premium Dye Ink: Black Onyx & Dark Chocolate * Wooden Anchor, 3D Foam Squares, Versa Mark, Distressing tool Twine, Embossing Folder from my stash Card Base: In The Navy 4 1/4" x 11 scored at 5 1/2" Powder Blue Layer - 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" then embossed Kraft Layer - 3 1/2" x 3 3/4" After getting the Powder Blue Layer Embossed with the folder, I used a sponge dauber and added a little Dk. Chocolate Ink to give it the aged distressed look. Then it was mounted on the In The Navy Card Base. Then it was time to work with the Kraft Layer.

10 I didn't get a good photo of the stamping, But I stamped the Black Images First. Because I used Versa Mark to stamp the Lighthouse and birds, and if they were the first to be stamped then the Black Onyx Ink would not have stamped well over those images. After stamping the layer in the first photo, then in the second photo you can see that the edges are distressed. You can tear, use scissors or how ever you choose to do it! I wanted this layer to look like a old rolled up map kind of thing LOL I tore the bottom left corner for interest. :) I used the sponge dauber with the Dk. Chocolate ink to add more color to the edges. So I started with a pencil and rolled the paper around the pencil, then I wanted it a little tighter of a roll, so I used a small paint brush to roll it around.

12 ***************************** I straighten out the paper and used my short almost no existing finger nail to run up and down the distressed edges. It made it more distressed! I like the look, so I took ad held the layer on each side and bent it back the other way to straighten it out a little more In the second photo, You can see the little crack looking lines that are horizontal I happened by accident and I used it to my advantage. I took the dauber again and lightly rubbed over the lines. They picked up a little of the color and show up nicely. (sorry for the blurry Photo) tied the twine around the card.

13 ********************** Added foam squares to the image layer and added it on a angle. Found one of the wooden anchors from Gina's store, and tied it to the twine. Added glue dots to the back and attached! On the inside I used a piece of Kraft paper and sponged the Dk. Chocolate around the edges and then a little all over to give it the weathers look!
