2 E2 Hardware, Track, Sill System & Weathersealing for Exterior Folding Doors & Windows In a single direction maximum panel weight : 90 lbs (40 kg) maximum panel width : 36 (914 mm) maximum panel height : 96 (2438 mm) maximum number of panels : 8 each way panel thickness : 1-3/4 (44.45 mm) using E2 Sill System panel thickness : 1-3/8 (34.93 mm) or 2-1/4 (57.15 mm) using floor channel. The Eclipse E2 System is designed for folding doors in exterior residential or light commercial applications. It has been developed to allow the opening to be effectively weathersealed for exposed environments. It enables up to 8 doors in both directions to be folded to the side of an opening and is suitable for Housing, Apartments, Cafes, Restaurants, Hotels & Shop Fronts. A typical installation of an Eclipse E2 System would be glazed doors opening out onto a balcony or patio. It can be used in place of aluminum, wood or PVC sliding doors. Weather: This system is suitable for use in exterior building applications. Application: The Eclipse E2 System uses pivots attached to the head and sill, which allow adjustment horizontally and vertically of the entire system. The pivots provide compensation for out-of-square jambs with up to 3/8 (10mm) of adjustment. All screws are fully concealed for external security. Materials: The Eclipse E2 System uses architectural grade aluminum alloy for tracking and stainless steel for hinge pins, carrier pins and carrier bogeys. Hinges are available in PVD brass, Brushed Stainless steel, and PVD Bronze, finishes over stainless steel. Parts Selection Eclipse E2 is specified with 5 separate groups : track, sill, weathersealing, flushbolts and hardware. Components are required from all 5 groups to build an Eclipse folding door system. Using Surelock is simple : 1 Components come supplied with a plastic shipping clip installed. 2 Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver into the slot and rotate the pin. 3 When correct adjustment is reached remove the shipping clip. 4 Surelock will snap into place when the blade and slot are aligned. 5 To readjust pull the blade down to disengage it from the slot, replace the shipping clip and rotate the pin.
