1 Page Nº: 9 of 95 2 MICROWAVE OVENS Check that all the technical information appearing on the specification plate corresponds to the characteristics of the mains electrical supply in question (voltage and frequency). Remove all packaging materials and accessories from the inside of the oven. Check that the door, hinges, oven front and all interior and exterior parts of the microwave are in perfect condition. Place the oven on a flat surface which can withstand its weight. In order to ensure adequate cooling, it is recommended that the microwave is placed in a cabinet that ihas an opening at the top. Ensure that the connection to the mains supply is adequately earthed. 9

4 Page Nº: 12 of 95 Column installation 1) Place the top fixing supports in a cabinet with a distance of 350 mm between axes. 2) Introduce the microwave in the gap of the recess and set the 4 adjustable feet to their highest position, ensuring that the I and II marks coincide. The height of the oven feet can be altered by turning them 180º. At their highest, they provide an elevation of 50 mm. 3) Cut the flanges of the lateral supports to the width of the recess gap before securing them to the front feet of the microwave. 4) Fix the microwave feet to the lower supports 5) Position the frame and screw it to the upper and lower parts of the wall. 12

7 Page Nº: 15 of 95 Installation under worktop surface: 1) Place the top fixing supports in a cabinet with a distance of 350 mm between axes. Given that in this type of installation, the frame for the microwave is in a lower position, the bottom supports are wider in order to ensure greater support for the frame. 2) Introduce the microwave in the gap of the recess and place the 4 adjustable feet perfectly flat at their lowest position, making sure that positions I and II coincide. The height of the feet can be adjusted by turning them 180º. At their lowest position, they provide an elevation of 40 mm. 3) Cut the flanges of the lateral supports to the width of the recess gap before securing them to the front feet of the microwave. 4) Fix the microwave feet to the lower supports 5) Position the frame by placing it on the top supports. This type of installation allows a worktop surface to be placed above the microwave. The new system allows the upper part of the frame to be fitted without the need for fastening screws. 15
