1 The PECPG or Prince Edward County pumpkin growers is one of the oldest growers clubs in the world, first formed in 1996, by the late Bill Greer, grower of the World s first Pumpkin over 1000 lbs. The PECPG held its first weigh off in Wellington Ontario in the fall of The event has become a huge annual celebration showcasing giant pumpkins from across Ontario and Quebec. This event has continued to grow and in 2011 was honoured to weigh Jim & Kelsey Bryson s 1818 World record! We would also like to thank all the growers who donated seeds to help with our Annual Fundraising auction. Without their generous donation, none of this would be possible. The proceeds of this auction go directly to fund the weighoff in Wellington. Rules for the auction Bidding will be in Canadian Dollars 1. Proxy bids are allowed. Contact John Vincent at j.vincent@xplornet.ca least 24 hrs before the auction starts. 2. Bidding will start at $10 & will increase by a minimum of $5 increments. 3. Some lots may have multiples and will be announced at the beginning of the lot offering. Winning bidder has first option to purchase both lots. If the option is not exercised, the second lot will pass to the second highest bidder. (Remember no under bidding) 4. Bidders will confirm their winning bids immediately after the close of each lot by sending an to John Vincent at j.vincent@xoplornet.ca stating their BP screen name, real name, lot number, winning bid amount, mailing address, and a contact phone number. Complete payment submission details will be returned by confirmation Payments are in Canadian Funds. ($1 Canadian dollar = approx. $0.75 US) Payments can be made by Check, Money Order, PayPal (as the preferred payment method) & we also accept E-Transfers. 6. All sales are final 7.
