13 Activities for year (Completed/ Planed) 2013-APMP Midyear meetings were hosted by MUSSD, Sri Lanka : Construction of new laboratory building with Instruments for development of existing technical capabilities and equipments for new fields with more staff.( Now the space is not enough for expanding laboratory services for necessary parameters to cover the needs of other institute requiring calibration services, legal metrology and industry )

15 Construction of New MUSSD Building Complex with Instrumentation and Personnel Location : near the city Homagama, about 20 km away from the Colombo City Total Estimated cost for the building: 2000 Million Rupees (Approx: 19 Million USD) Total estimated cost for instruments: 500 Million Rupees ( Approx: 4 Million USD) Planned to complete the laboratory area before 2014 November. Whole project planed to complete in next3 years ( end of 2016).
