1 Geomatics Lab

2 The Lab: TECTERRA Geomatics Lab provides companies and post-secondary applied research projects access to state-of-the-art geomatics technology development equipment. The lab equipment is primarily available for commercial product development and test purposes. It is also available for technology trials and demonstrations, evaluation of new geomatics applications and highly qualified personnel training. The Geomatics Lab may not be used for direct revenue generation, fundamental research or academic purposes. All of our equipment is available free-of-charge for TECTERRA portfolio companies and at highly subsidized rates for other Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Training: Through TECTERRA s GET-Pro program, we sponsor hands-on equipment training courses at our lab and in the field for industry professionals and graduate students. The training is focused on hands-on learning with professional instruction, is free-of-charge and includes a completion certificate. Training sessions are held periodically throughout the year, please visit to find out more information on upcoming training sessions.
