1 ARATOS-SWISS Homeland Security AG & SMA PROGRESS, LLC HALS-H1 Ground Surveillance & Targeting Helicopter Defense, Emergency, Homeland Security (Border Patrol, Pipeline Monitoring)... Automatic detection and tracking of moving objects (up to 50 targets) Advanced radar/map display information system High precision targeting purposes on the battlefield Visual airborne target locator system with five modules, installed into a compact body: thermal imager, color camera, laser range finder, video processor, inertial module Auto tracking function has two modes: target acquisition mode and tracking mode High-precision inertial navigation system based on three fiber optic gyroscopes and three accelerometers
2 Visual Airborne Target Locator System (VATLS) On-gimbal inertial measurement unit for reduced image blur due to jitter and precise line pointing, target geo-location, and multi-target tracking Advanced image processing for optimum gain and level, sharper imagery, and algorithms for enhanced recognition and identification range performance Versatile modular architecture for future growth The VATLS is the multi-sensor electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) fire control system for the HALS-H1 Ground Surveillance & Targeting Helicopter. It is a large-aperture midwives forward-looking infrared (FLIR) sensor, color TV, laser designator/rangefinder, and on-gimbal inertial measurement unit integrated into a highly stabilized turret. The turret mounts to the nose of the aircraft via the SMA PROGRESS-developed aircraft interface structure. The VATLS provides the capability to identify and laser-designate targets at maximum weapon range, significantly enhancing platform survivability and lethality. Surveillance and Target Acquisition Radar (STAR) Automatic Detection and Tracking of Moving Fifty Objects (Personnel and Vehicles) Advanced Radar/Map Display Information System The STAR is a highly versatile low power, high-performance ground surveillance radar. The STAR provides wide-area surveillance to a maximum range of 15 km, day or night and in all weather conditions. The STAR s effectiveness been demonstrated in both combat and peacekeeping missions, including significant use in the Afghanistan and Russia. Testifying to its proven performance and reliability, today there are more than 500 STAR units deployed around the Border Force of Russia. The STAR locates moving targets and uniquely classifies them as personnel, tracked vehicles or wheeled vehicles. The simple-to-operate man-machine interface allows for rapid self-location and surveillance area set up, and provides for sophisticated interface support features.
3 Helicopter Synthetic Vision/Infrared System (SVIS) Wide horizontal angle of view (not less than 120 ), which provides wide horizontal coverage area Electronic (non-kinematic) line of sight aiming within the field of view, and line of sight coordinate digital data displaying TV and thermal image overlapping for object detection limiting range enhancement Improved view of video images from TV and thermal imaging channels with low image contrast and low visibility of objects in adverse weather conditions (fog, dust, smoke, rain, snow) Ability to save video, audio and service information to removable storage device and play video on helicopter board. Ability to interconnect the system with onboard radar, navigation equipment, satellite navigation system and other helicopter systems Synthetic Vision System (SVS) from SMA PROGRESS,LLC better equips your flight crews for situational awareness in low visibility and unfamiliar territory. They can fly safer day or night with increased positional awareness provided by a synthetic view of the external environment, regardless of weather or time of day. Airborne Guidance and Navigation System (AGNS) Anti-Jamming Technology Fiber Optics Gyros Technology GLONASS L1/L2 + GPS L1/L2 dual satellite system calculating All-in-view navigation using proven,120-channel GLONASS/GPS signal processor Standalone Position Accuracy < 1.5 m Up to 110 db of additional anti-jamming protection. SMA PROGRESS,LLC Airborne Guidance and Navigation System (AGNS) designed for Air Force. A new family of products with motion sensing and gyrocompass functionality is introduced. The first product in this family is the AGNS which includes three Fiber Optics Gyros (FOG) and three linear accelerometers. The AGNS product is a fully inertial navigation system (INS). It can output heading, roll, pitch, heave and position. Acceleration and velocity of linear motions, as well as angular rates, are output from the unit. The AGNS product outputs both processed and raw (gyro and accelerometer) sensor data. The AGNS product can be used as a stand-alone unit or as an INS in other systems.
