In fact th not a new dea becaue eonant ccut had been ued to acheve the foced commutaton of thyto fo many yea. SS nvete ae dvded nto two boad categoe namely pole commutated and eonant dc lnk nvete (PI and RDLI). Whle PI bacally ha one eonant tank pe pole o leg and a capablty of PWM opeaton RDLI ha one common tank on dc lnk but not the PWM opeaton capablty. Moeove PI ha moe component and a hghe cot than t RDLI countepat [-4]. Soft wtchng nvete have been popoed to mnmze the wtchng loe. One of the mot ucceful and popula oft wtchng topologe the eonant bank n the D lnk and a contol tategy called gma delta modulaton technque popoed by ecent pape. One of the bgget poblem of the eonant lnk nvete that the contol tategy of the nvete not capable of offeng faclte of PWM technque uch a mpovng the output voltage of the nvete by nceang the wtchng fequency. So fa e few tude have been epoted to ovecome th poblem [-4]. A lot of eeach on RDLI havng the cheapet oluton fo SS ha been peented n ecent yea. RDL nvete ae dvded nto two majo goup namely bac eonant and paallel eonant dc lnk nvete (BRDLI and PRDLI). The nvete connected to the voltage ouce va an nducto thee not the PWM opeaton capablty and the nvete voltage te vey hgh n the BRDLI bacally. To etct the voltage te the actve and pave clamped (A and P) BRDL nvete have been mpoved. Alo the qua eonant (QR) ubgoup of thee nvete have been peented to povde the PWM opeaton capablty fo thee nvete whch can geneally opeate wth dcete pule modulaton (DPM) []-[] [6] [8]-[][4]. In th tudy a new AQPRDL ccut fo SS nvete peented. It enue that dc lnk voltage fall to zeo at any tme equed and tay at zeo fo a tme peod needed. Thu t povde SS and PWM opeaton fo the nvete.
