3 Cutting Instructions: Fabric A: Panel Multi Fussy cut one 28 ½ x 36 ½ panel. Page 3 Fabric : Wine Tonal Cut two 2 ½ x 36 ½ Width of Fabric (WOF) strips. Cut two 2 ½ x 32 ½ WOF strips. Cut three 2 x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut two 2 x 59 ½ strips. Cut three 2 x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut two 2 x 54 ½ strips. Cut eight Template 4 diamonds. Fabric C: Words old Cut one 4 ½ x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into four 4 ½ squares. Fabric : Amber Tonal Cut two 2 ½ x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into thirty-two 2 ½ squares. Cut six Template 1 triangles. Cut six Template 2 triangles. Cut four Template 3 triangles. Fabric E: Crosses Ruby Cut four Template 4 diamonds with the crosses vertical. Cut four Template 4 diamonds with the crosses horizontal. Fabric F: Words Emerald Cut two Template 4 diamonds with the words vertical. Cut two Template 4 diamonds with the words horizontal. Fabric : Stars Print Cut one 4 ½ x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into sixteen 2 ½ x 4 ½ strips. Cut one 7 ½ x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into four 4 ½ x 7 ½ strips and four 4 ½ squares. Cut one 2 ½ x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into four 2 ½ x 7 ½ strips. Cut one 2 ½ x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into four 2 ½ x 3 ½ strips. Cut one 2 ½ x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into four 2 ½ x 10 ½ strips. Cut three 1 ½ x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into twelve strips. Cut forty Template 6 triangles. Cut forty Template 5 triangles. Cut six Template 1 triangles. Cut six Template 2 triangles. Trim the block to measure 31 ½ x 39 ½ to make the Center lock (Fig. 1). Center lock A 2. 5 Page Place one 2 ½ Fabric square on the lower half of one 2 ½ x 4 ½ Fabric strip, right sides together (Fig. 10). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 10). Flip open the triangle formed and press. Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼ seam allowance to make one Unit 4 strip (Fig. 11). Repeat to make four Unit 4 strips total. Place one 2 ½ Fabric square on the lower half of one 2 ½ x 4 ½ Fabric strip, right sides together (Fig. 12). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 12). Flip open the triangle formed and press. Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼ seam allowance to make one Unit 5 strip (Fig. 13). Repeat to make four Unit 5 strips total. Flip open the triangle formed and press. Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼ seam allowance to make one Unit 6 strip (Fig. 14). 10. Sew two 2 ½ x 10 ½ Fabric strips, two lock One rectangles, two lock Two rectangles, two Fabric strips and one lock Three rectangle together lengthwise to make one order Strip. Repeat to make a second order Strip.
