4 Page 4 Cutting Instructions - Continued: Fabric M: Plum Fabric N: Grape Cut (1) 4 x WOF strips. Sub-cut (4) 4 x 7 ½ rectangles. Cut (4) Template 3 pieces using the Fabric O: Blush Fabric P: Lipstick Fabric Q: Candy Apple Fabric R: Merlot Fabric S: Mandarin Fabric T: Cork Fabric U: Yolk Cut (1) 4 x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 4 x 9 ½ rectangles. Cut (4) Template 2 pieces using the Fabric : Linen White Cut (14) 4 x WOF strips. Sub-cut (80) 4 x 7 rectangles. Cut (80) Template 1 pieces using the Cut (4) 2 x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 x 60 ½ strips. Cut (3) 2 x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 x 51 ½ strips. Fabric W: Black Cut (6) 2 ½ x WOF strips for the binding. Backing: Khaki Cut (2) 59 x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 59 x 71 back.

Pin (1) Fabric -Template 1 piece to each side of (1) Fabric A-Template 2 piece, with right sides together, along the top curve, aligning the notches on each side (Fig. 1). 2. With the Template 1 on top, sew each piece in place, to make (1) Unit 1 piece. Press towards Template 1 (Fig. 2). Repeat to make (4) Unit 1 pieces total. 6 Page With the Unit 1 on top, sew the two pieces together, to make (1) 6 ½ x 12 ½ Block One rectangle. Press towards Unit 1. Repeat to make (4) Block One rectangles total (Fig. 6). 7 Page 7 Quilt Top Assembly Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top: 9. Sew the (4) Column Ones together lengthwise to make the Center Block, rotating Columns Two and Four 180 degrees. 10. Sew (1) 2 x 60 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2 x 51 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top Layer and quilt as desired. Sew the (6) 2 ½ x WOF Fabric W binding strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.
