WO= Width of abric LO = Length of abric abric A ( All-Over Lime), cut: (3) 5 ¼ x WO strips, sub-cut (10) 5 ¼ x 8 ½ strips. abric ( Letters to Santa Red), cut: (2) 2 x WO strips, sub-cut (5) 2 x 8 ½ strips. Always press towards the darker fabric while assembling, unless otherwise noted by the arrows. lock Assembly 1. Place one abric -Template 1 triangle on top of one abric -Template 1 triangle, right sides together, aligning the left sides (ig. 1). Sew the two triangles together along the left side. Press the smaller triangle open. Trim the block to measure 2 ½ x 4 ½ to make (1) unit (ig. 1). Repeat to make (5) units total. 2. Repeat Step 1 using (4) abric -Template 1 triangles and (4) abric -Template 1 triangles to make (4) 2 ½ x 4 ½ units (ig. 2). ig. 1 ig Place one abric -Template 2 triangle on top of the abric -Template 2 triangle, right sides together, aligning the right sides (ig. 3). Sew the two triangles together along the right side. Press the smaller triangle open. Trim the block to measure 2 ½ x 4 ½ to make (1) unit. Repeat to make (5) units total. 4. Repeat Step 3 using (4) abric -Template 2 triangles and (4) abric -Template 2 triangles to make (4) 2 ½ x 4 ½ units (ig. 4). ig. 3 ig Sew (1) 2 x 2 ½ abric strip, (1) unit, (1) unit and (1) 2 x 2 ½ abric strip together in that order to make one strip (ig. 5). Repeat to make (5) strips total. 6. Sew (1) 2 x 2 ½ abric strip, (1) unit, (1) unit and (1) 2 x 2 ½ abric strip together in that order to make one strip (ig. 6). Sew (4) 3 ½ x 41 ½ abric strips and the (3) rows, in numerical order, together, alternating them, to make the quilt top. 14. Sew (1) 2 ½ x 45 ½ abric strip to each side of the quilt top.
