Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 x 43 strips. (2) 2 x 26 WO strips. (7) 1 ½ x WO strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (4) 1 ½ x 63 ½ strips. (3) 1 ½ x WO strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 1 ½ x 53 ½ strips. (2) 1 ½ x 35 ½ WO strips. (5) 1 ½ x WO strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 1 ½ x 85 ½ strips. (1) 2 ½ x WO strip, sub-cut (4) 2 ½ squares. Always press towards the darker fabric while assembling, unless otherwise indicated. lock Assembly 1. Sew (1) 2 x 43 abric strip to each side of the 23 x 43 abric A panel. Sew (1) 2 x 26 abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the abric A panel. Trim the block to measure 25 x 45 to make the enter lock (ig. 1). Repeat to make a second strip. Sew (1) strip to each side of the enter lock. 10. Sew (18) units together to make (1) strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew (1) 2 ½ abric square to each end of both strips. Sew the resulting strips to the top and to the bottom of the enter lock. 11. Sew (1) side strip from Step 5 to each side of the enter lock. 12. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 63 ½ abric strip to the top and to the bottom of (1) 6 ½ x 63 ½ abric G strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the enter lock. 13. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 85 ½ abric strip to each side of the enter lock to make the quilt top. Layering, Quilting and inishing 14. Press the quilt top and 73 x 93 backing well. Layer backing (wrong side up), batting, pressed quilt top (right side up) and baste.
