Place (1) 2 ½ abric square on the left side of (1) 2 ½ x 4 ½ abric strip, right sides together (ig. 1). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (ig. 1). lip open the triangle formed and press (ig. 2). Sub-cut strip into (6) 2 ½ x 4 ½ strips. rom the Plaid - Tobacco (acking), cut: (1) 30 x 54 strip for the backing. ig. 1 ig Place another 2 ½ abric square on the right side of the 2 ½ x 4 ½ abric strip, right sides together (ig. 3). Sew (1) 3 ½ x 16 ½ abric strip to each end of the enter lock. Sew (1) 3 ½ abric square to each end of (1) 3 ½ x 40 ½ abric strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the enter lock to make the runner top. 19.
