WOF= Width of Fabric LOF = Length of Fabric Fabric A (4722P Panel lack/red): Fussy cut (1) 25 ½ x 20 ½ large panel. Fussy cut (4) 11 ½ x 8 ½ small blocks. Fabric ( Chalkboard Words Red), cut: (1) 4 x WOF strip, sub-cut (2) 4 x 20 ½ strips. (2) 3 x 32 ½ WOF strips. Fabric C ( Trees ray), fussy cut: (4) 3 ½ squares each centered on a tree. Fabric ( Snowflakes lack), cut: (1) 4 ¼ x WOF strip, sub-cut (8) 4 ¼ squares. (2) 3 ½ x WOF strips, sub-cut (16) 3 ½ squares. (4) 3 ½ x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 3 ½ x 67 ½ strips. (3) 3 ½ x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 3 ½ x 58 ½ strips. Fabric E ( Candycane White), cut: (1) 4 ¼ x WOF strip, sub-cut (8) 4 ¼ squares. Fabric F ( Snowflakes White), cut: (2) 4 ½ x WOF strips, sub-cut (8) 4 ½ x 9 ½ strips. Fabric ( Peppermint Stripe Red), cut: (4) 1 ½ x WOF strips, sub-cut (16) 1 ½ x 9 ½ strips. (7) 2 ½ x WOF strips for the binding. Fabric (1351-Pewter Just Color! Pewter), cut: (2) 2 x WOF strips, sub-cut (8) 2 x 9 ½ strips. (3) 2 x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 x 49 ½ strips. (4) 2 x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 x 64 ½ strips. (3) 2 x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 x 52 ½ strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (4) 1 ¼ x 49 ½ strips. Fabric J ( Snowflakes ray), cut: (5) 1 ¾ x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (4) 1 ¾ x 49 ½ strips. Fabric K ( order Stripe lack/red): Fussy cut (2) 6 x 49½ length of fabric LOF strips centered on wide stripe. acking ( Patchwork lack/red), cut: (2) 66 x WOF strips. Sew the strips together and trim to 66 x 81 to make the back.

Always press towards the darker fabric while assembling, unless otherwise noted by the arrows. lock Assembly 1. Sew (1) 4 x 20 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the 25 ½ x 20 ½ Fabric A large panel. Sew (1) 3 x 32 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A large panel. Trim the block to measure 31 ½ x 24 ½ to make (1) lock One rectangle (Fig. 1). 2. Sew ¼ away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 3). Cut the (2) squares apart on the drawn diagonal line to make (2) half-square triangles (Fig. 4). Trim the blocks to measure 3 ⅞ square (Fig. 5). 4. Place (1) half-square triangle from Step 3 on top of another half-square triangle, right sides together. Make sure the center seam is going in the same direction on both half-square triangles and the Fabric triangle in the top block is opposite from the Fabric triangle in the bottom block (Fig. 6). 5. raw a diagonal line across the top half-square triangle so that it goes through the sewn seam. Sew ¼ away from both sides of the drawn line (Fig. 7). Cut on the drawn line to make (2) quarter-square triangles. Trim the blocks to measure 3 ½ square to make (2) squares (Fig. 8). 6. Sew (1) square to each side (1) 3 ½ Fabric C square with the Fabric sides touching the Fabric C square to make the middle row. Sew the (3) rows together to make (1) lock Three square (Fig. 9). Repeat to make (4) lock Three squares total. lock Three make 4 C 8. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 9 ½ Fabric strip to each side of (1) lock Three square. Sew (1) 4 ½ x 9 ½ Fabric F strip to each side of the sewn strip. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 9 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the new strip. Sew (1) 2 x 9 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the sewn strip to make (1) Unit 2 strip (Fig. 10). Repeat to make a second Unit 2 strip. 9. Repeat Step 8 but sew the Fabric, F, and strips to the top and to the bottom of (1) lock Three square to make (1) Unit 3 strip (Fig. 11). Repeat to make a second Unit 3 strip. Sew (1) 3 ½ x 67 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the Center lock. Sew (1) 3 ½ x 58 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center lock to make the quilt top. Layering, Quilting and Finishing 17. Press the quilt top and 66 x 81 backing well. Layer backing (wrong side up), batting, pressed quilt top (right side up) and baste. Quilt as desired and trim excess batting and backing when quilting is complete. inding 18. Cut the ends of the (7) Fabric binding strips at a 45-degree angle and sew end to end to make (1) continuous piece of binding. Fold in half lengthwise and press wrong sides together. 19. Sew the binding to the front of the quilt, raw edges together. Turn the folded edge to the back, and hand stitch in place.
