Sub-cut the strips into forty-eight 3 ½ squares. Fabric O: Feathers Light Green Fabric P: Vines and Buds Moss Cut one 3 ⅞ x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into six 3 ⅞ squares. Fabric Q: Vines Green Cut one 3 ⅞ x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into six 3 ⅞ squares. Fabric : Lace Green Cut two 6 ½ x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into twenty-four 3 ½ x 6 ½ strips. Sew together and trim to make one 68 x 92 back. Block Assembly: 1. Place one 3 ⅞ Fabric D square on top of one 3 ⅞ Fabric C square, right sides together. Draw a line across the diagonal of the top square (Fig. 1). Sew ¼ away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 1). Cut the two squares apart on the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 2) to make two CD units (Fig. 3). Sew two OP units and two OQ units together to make one PQ block. epeat to make six PQ blocks total. 19. Sew one unit to each side of one PQ block. Sew one ST unit to each end of one unit. epeat to make a second strip. Layer and quilt as desired. 24. Sew the eight 2 ½ x WOF Fabric U strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half, lengthwise with wrong sides together, and press. 25. Bind as desired.
