The 2016 FUNdraising season is in the history books and we are anxiously preparing for We are especially excited to report that the following goals were set and accomplished by the 2016 FUNdraising Committee: First We were tasked to have 12 competing groups with Group Chairman... 4 Fourth We said we would make the annual FUNdraising event the Twenty Pearls Fashionetta the most talked about event of the year... The Precious and the Pearl More than 650 persons attended the Twenty Pearls Fashionetta on November 19, Images were seen on Face Book, Instagram, in the Silver Star and in the Tri-State Defender. Evaluations are important and you spoke! A survey was issued on Saturday, November 19 th to capture an immediate reaction of the participants who attended the event. Survey results were shared with Sisters in Service Foundation, Inc. members. A survey was issued on Saturday, November 19 th to capture an immediate reaction of the contestants and escorts who participated in the Twenty Pearls The Precious and the Pearl Fashionetta. Survey results will be used to design a more inclusive program schedule for Fifth We promised to have 2 supplemental FUNdraising events... Denim and Pearls Day Party - June 25, 2016 Jingle Jam Day Party - December 10, 2016 We also promised to host a Family Strengthening and Community Field Day Event for Ms. Ivy Caldwell and her team of experts will deliver on the promise by 2 nd quarter, Sixth We partnered with Kroger - the largest supermarket chain in the country... We received our first installment! Of the four families who were registered during the reporting period last quarter, $5.91 was allocated to Sisters in Service, Foundation, Inc.
5 Seventh We held monthly FUNdraising Committee meetings for 2016 where we planned for the annual event and enjoyed sisterly relations. Average attendance 21 members... Eighth We promised to make FUNdraising fun... Ninth Twentieth The FUNdraising Committee realizes the difference between success and failure is a great team. We are humbled and grateful for the opportunity to lead an effort that helps the Sisters in Service Foundation, Inc. and Beta Epsilon Omega Chapter be of service to all mankind; especially in our local community.
