2 Senior Ads Class of 2015 By purchasing an ad in the 2015 Cougar Pride yearbook with warm wishes for your graduating senior, you are commemorating your student s hard work and success. The money you spend on this ad helps Photo guidelines We accept high quality prints of any size or digital images provided on a CD or flash drive or uploaded to the Smart-Pay website. The staff can reduce, enlarge or crop an image as needed. (Online photo submission is for credit card orders on Smart-Pay.com only.) We publish an all-color yearbook, so unless you specifically request black & white, all photographs will be printed in color. Because of copyright laws, proofs from a portrait studio or professional photographer are not acceptable unless you provide written consent from the studio or photographer giving permission for publication. Ad design The staff will design your ad for you using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. the yearbook staff create a full-color book to be delivered in the spring. We appreciate your patronage. Thank You! We do not publish photos containing any sort of nudity, illegal activity, weapons, or bathing suits (unless the student is a competitive swimmer). If you are sending digital photos, we request that you send original, unedited.jpg files and written instructions for cropping. If you are sending hard-copy photos, they will be digitally scanned and kept at school until the yearbook pages are complete. We will do our best to safeguard your photos, but this is a student publication and mistakes can occur, so we ask that you not send irreplaceable originals. Please label the back of all photos with your senior s name or stick an address label on it. We will not accept photographs that have been cut or homemade Copyright laws require that all quotations be credited to the original author unless the author is unknown. Only BRIEF excerpts from a song or poem may be printed without consent of the author, with the exception of material written prior to 1920 (Shakespeare, Bible verses, ancient Greek works.) Deadline Senior ad order forms, all materials and payment must be received by Friday, Oct. 10, 2014! Advertising space is limited. Late orders will only be accepted if space is still available.
