This section includes administrative and procedural requirements governing allowances. 1. ertain items are specified in the ontract ocuments by allowances. llowances have been established in lieu of additional requirements and to defer selection of actual materials and equipment to a later date when direction will be provided to the ontractor. If necessary, additional requirements will be issued by hange Order.. Types of allowances include the following: 1. Unit-cost allowances LLOWNS FOR PROUTS. llowance shall include cost to ontractor of specific products and materials ordered by Owner or selected by rchitect under allowance and shall include: 1. elivery to the site. 2. pplicable taxes. 3. Handling at the site. 4. Protection. 5. Labor. 6. ontractor and subcontractor's overhead and profit. 7.
