1 Event code:- AMCA/KOLHAPUR/19/2018 Maharashtra State Selection Under-7 (Open & Girls) Chess Championship th to 27th May Under the Aegis of : All Marathi Chess Association Organized by - Amature Chess Association, Kolhapur INVITATION Amature Chess Association, under the auspices of All Marathi Chess Association have the honor to invite players from all District Chess Associations from Maharashtra to participate in the Maharashtra State Selection Under-7 (Open & Girls) Chess Championship 2018 to be held at Dr. D.Y.Patil Pratishthan s College of engineering 865, A-ward, Salokhe nagar, Kalamba Ring Road, Kolhapur from 24th May. to 27th May 2018 (both days inclusive). Arrival on:- 24th May 2018 at 8.00 am. Inauguration: 24th May 2018 at 9.30 am. followed by players meeting and 1st Round. Prize Distribution :-27th May 2018 at 5:00 pm. 2 Eligibility: Players Born on or after can participate in this tournament. Players must submit a copy of their Date of Birth Certificate registered within ONE year of their Birth along with the entry form. *WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY ENTRY WITHOUT BIRTH CERTIFICATE* Entry Fee Rs.800/-for Selected Players (selected players must bring letter from their respective District Association), 1500/- who participated in district selection match and 2000/- for donors (Who didn t participated in the district match but still want to play the stale selection match). participants to be paid on or before 20th May 2018 by Cash or NFT in favour of Amature Chess Association, Kolhapur Payable at Kolhapur. In Case of cancellation of Entry, fees will not be refunded. We will accept entries on or before 5.00 PM of 20th May 2018 Participants can also remit their entry fees directly to the bank account under intimation to us. All Selected players are requested to confirm their entry before 20th May 2018, otherwise they have to make their own arrangements. 3 Note: All other participants & accompanying person will have to make their own arrangements. Entry Fees will be as mentioned above till 5.00 pm 22th May After 22 nd May 2018 late fee of Rs.300/- per participant will be charged along with the regular fees. *No spot entries will be accepted* Total Prize Fund: Rs.30,000/-(Open Rs.15,000 & Girls Rs.15,000) Cash Prizes Rank 1 st 2 nd 3 rd 4 th 5 th Open Girls In the Case of tie, Prize money will not be shared. Every Player will get Merit/Participation Certificate. Rounds & Time Control: No. of Rounds will depend upon no of entries in both the Groups. Time control will be 90 min. plus 30 sec increment from move no.1 to each player. Selection for National: First Two players from each category i.e. Open & Girls will be selected to represent the state of Maharashtra in the forth coming U-7 National Chess Championship. 4 Rules & Regulations 1.) Tournament will be conducted as per Latest FIDE and AICF rules. 2.) Other rules will be displayed on Notice board at Venue 3.) Spectators (Players who have finished their games, Parents, Managers & Coaches) should stay away from playing area during the round. 4.) General discipline should be maintained at tournament hall and lodging place. 5.) Protest, if any, against the decision of the Arbiter shall be made in writing with a protest fee of Rs.500/-within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the incident. Protest fee will be refunded if the appeal sup held. In case of any dispute Chief Arbiter s decision will be final. 6.) Chief Arbiters decision shall be final and binding to all. 7.) To attend the closing ceremony of Championship is mandatory for all the participants. 8.) All the prize winners must attend the Prize Distribution Function, If not then prizes will not be handed over to anybody else and prize will be forfeited. 9.) The organiser reserve the rights to admit or refuse any entry without assigning any reason thereof. They also reserve the rights of admission to the venue. 10.) Organizer has every rights to make any addition or amendments to their rules, without notice. Such changes however displayed In the tournament hall. 11.)
