The Tournament is open to Tamil Nadu Players only. 2. The Latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will be followed. 3. Time Control: Each Half an hour. 4. The first round will commence at AM on The number of rounds and the round-wise schedule will be announced at the tournament venue. 5. TNSCA player registration is compulsory for all players. TNSCA Registration fee is Rs.150/- for the year Players registering with TNSCA should submit duly filled and signed TNSCA Players Registration form along with a copy of their Date of Birth certificate and one passport size photograph. Those who

2 have already paid the TNSCA Player registration should show the proof thereof. 6. Tiruvallur DCA Registration fee is Rs. 50/- for the year (for Tiruvallur District players). 7. Players are requested to bring their own International chess sets (and chess clock if, any). 8. Tiebreak: Buchholz tiebreak system will be applied. In case of tie, prizes will not be shared. 9. The Chief Arbiter's ' decisions' shall be final and binding on all players concerned. 10. Age proof Certificate must be produced for Children s category prizes. 11. Entries close at 5.00 P.M on The TNSCA / Thiruvallur DCA / T.Nagar Chess Academy reserves the right to admit / reject any entry without assigning any reason thereof. The TNSCA /Thiruvallur DCA / T.Nagar Chess Academy reserve the rights of admission to the venue and lodging place. 13. Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants. Points of the best Performers of the school (Same Institution)From different or same categories will be calculated to decide the school winning the Trophy. Special Concession: There will be 50% concession in the entry fee for participants of Vishwaksena. However, they should register with TNSCA for the year by paying Rs.150/- Total Prizes: 100 and more 1. For each category, one Cycle +Cup will be given as first prize. 2. Glittering cups/ mementos will be given to the remaining 90 rankers 3. Special award will be given to the school sending more number of students. 4. Special award will be given to the chess Academy sending more participants. Inaugural Function : (Saturday) at Hrs. Prize Distribution Function : (Sunday) at Hrs.

The TNSCA / Organizer / Viswaksena Vidya Vikas School reserves the right to admit or reject any entry without assigning any reason thereof. The TNSCA/Organizer Tiruvallur District Chess Association reserves the rights of admission of Participants to the venue. Discipline: Undisciplined chess players/parents/managers/coachers inside the school premises will be debarred from the tournament The unconsumed food particles and other wasted eatables including fruit skins must be deposited in the dustbin only.
