4 Eligibility : All the bonafide resident of West Bengal only, registered with BCA, are eligible to participate. The last date of Entry Fee is 11 th April Entries will be accepted with a late fee of Rs. 200/- only till 13th April System of Play : Rapid tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System of 9 rounds. Time Control : Rapid:- 25 mins + 05 sec Incr. from move no.1 Tie Break : In case of a tie, the latest FIDE rules will come into effect. The cash prizes, however, will not be shared. Protest: Protest, if any, shall be made in writing with a protest fee of Rs. 500/- within 10 mins. of the occurrence of the incident. The protest fee will be refunded, if the appeal is upheld. Registration : AICF, BCA and PMDCA (For Purba Medinipur District Players only) registration for is compulsory for all the players. The registration should be completed before start of Round 1. The registration fee of Rs. 250/- for AICF, Rs. 200/- for BCA and Rs. 50 for PMDCA. Rights of Admission : The AICF / BCA / Organiser reserve the right to admit or refuse any entry without assigning any reason thereof. BCA / Organiser also reserve the rights of admission to the venue. Chess Clock : Players are requested to bring their own chess clock. Documents Required at the time of Registration : 2 passport size photographs, DOB certificate for under 20 players, AICF Registration Receipt/Registration No, Filled up Registration Form. ROUTE: College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat is convenient and very well connected with Trains & Buses By Train : Howrah-Kharagpur South Eastern Line : Mecheda Railway Station. Then 5 minutes in Toto/ Trekker By Bus: From Dharmatala/ Howrah/ Bally : Any Bus to Digha/Haldia/Nandakumar Bus Stop - Kolaghat Engineering College. Travel time from Kolkata is within 1.5 hours. The venue and ambience will be excellent. Waiting arrangement for accompanying person is very spacious. Live telecast through CCTV will be featured. Free Wi-fi will be available. We solicit grand participation from the chess players to make the event successful.
