2 Route Map 2018 This is a suggested route only. Currently many of our highways have construction. You may want to check T E N Y E A S R LEG 1 - PARADE RULES The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) will be escorting our Parade (Leg 1) from the Polo Park parking lot to Assiniboia Downs. All controlled intersections will be protected by the WPS Volunteer Blockers enroute to the Downs. Please pay strict attention to the instructions you receive at the Safety Briefing before departure, and from the Police Volunteers responsible for getting you there safely. RIDE SAFE! LEG 1 Polo Park to Assiniboia Downs 1. Parade (Leg 1) departs at 10:00 am sharp from South Polo Park parking lot near Earl s. 2. Depart parking lot onto westbound Portage Ave.; Volunteer marshalling Ride Crew will direct you to depart using two lanes; Two Riders, staggered per lane, Four abreast in total. 3. Follow Police Escort to Assiniboia Downs and Stay in formation for entire Parade (Leg 1). Do not attempt to pass any Riders ahead of you, and follow proper motorcycle riding etiquette. Remain in your staggered formation throughout the Parade (Leg 1).If you must leave the Parade (Leg 1) prematurely, follow correct signalling procedures and pull off to the side of the road in a safe manner. Remain stopped until other Riders in Parade (Leg 1) have passed by. The far left (median) lane is for Police use only. Do not enter this lane until reaching the Perimeter underpass. 3 LEG 2 - ASSINIBOIA DOWNS TO SELKIRK ESCORTED PARADE IS NOW OVER. Please obey all regular driving laws 1. Break off Parade (Leg 1) formation & depart Assiniboia Downs Parking lot onto Eastbound Portage Ave. 2. Take Perimeter overpass, merge Right to cloverleaf & proceed North on Perimeter Highway # Proceed to Highway #9, North exit. 4. Merge Right off Perimeter onto Hwy #9. 5. Take Hwy #9 to the Selkirk West bypass; turn left (west). 6. Continue to Easton Dr. Turn right (east) on Easton Dr. 7. Proceed to the Selkirk Recreation Center on your right. Card Stop #1 WASHROOMS are available inside, this site closes at 1:00 PM Feel free to make your own way to the various Card Stops and back to Winnipeg. If you do not want to ride the entire route, all remaining cards can be pulled at any of the Card Stops. RIDE SAFE Card Stop #1 at Selkirk Recreation Centre 3

4 LEG 3 SELKIRK TO GIMLI 1. Turn left from the Selkirk Recreation Center onto Easton Dr. 2. As you proceed north on Easton Dr. it becomes Hwy #9. 3. Proceed North on Hwy. #9 To Gimli. ** Alternate Scenic Route through Cottage area** A. Turn Right on Prov. Road 232 or 225. B. Continue North on Hwy. #9 through Winnipeg Beach. 4. Enter Gimli, turning right on Center St and ride east towards town center. 5. Follow directions and instructions from RFD Volunteer Ride Crew to beach front parking area North of Lakeview Resort & Conference Centre. Card Stop #2 6. The 1st 500 registered (including online), will receive a free lunch at the Lakeview Resort. WASHROOMS are located at resort and North side of beach front parking area. If time permits, check out the local Gimli retailers who have supported our Ride since its inception in Riders, Please Note: Our Sponsors, the good folks at the Lakeview Resort & Conference Centre, 10 Center Street, Gimli will be offering a Lunch Special to Riders without a RFD free Lunch Ticket. As the town of Gimli has been a great supporter of RFD we also encourage riders to take advantage of the other restaurants and shops available in Gimli. 5 LEG 4 GIMLI TO HALF MOON DRIVE IN 1. Return to Hwy. #9 the same way you came in, or a route of your choice. 2. Turn Left (South) on Highway #9 southbound for Lockport. 3. Turn Left (East) at Highway #44 (PetroCan & Mohawk Gas Stations) and continue to Henderson Hwy. 4. Turn right (south) onto Henderson Hwy and continue to Half Moon on your right (6860 Henderson Hwy) Card Stop #3. Closes at 4:30 PM LEG 5 HALF MOON TO CANAD INNS - WINDSOR PARK COWBOYS NIGHT CLUB 1. Head south (right) on Henderson Hwy. 2. Take Henderson Hwy south to the Perimeter (101) 3. Turn left onto the Perimeter(101) eastbound 4. Continue eastbound and merge right at Lagimodiere(Hwy 59 South). Turn right south Lagimodiere. Card Stop #3 HALF MOON Drive In 5. Take the Elizabeth Rd. exit and arrive at Cowboys Night Club on your left. 5

7 All participants are given 1 Poker Draw Card as part of the ride guide. Only 1 card per participant. There are no replacements or extra hands. 1. Royal Flush A, K, Q, J, 10 all of the same suite POKER HAND RANKINGS 2. Straight Flush Any five card sequence in the same suite Please print your name clearly at the top. When you select a card the dealer will write the name of the card you drew on your Poker Draw Card and stamp certifying the same. If you draw 2 of the same card you are required to redraw. Your Draw card must be handed over to organizers at the end of the ride. If not completing the entire run, you can select all of your cards at the remaining card stops. Poker Draw Cards appearing tampered with will be deemed ineligible. Decisions by the designated Poker Chairperson are final and cannot be contested. 3. Four of a Kind All four cards of the same rank 5. Flush Any five cards of the same suite, but not in sequence 7. Three of a Kind Three cards of the same rank 9. Pair Two cards of the same rank 4. Full House Three of a Kind combined with a pair 6. Straight Five cards in sequence, but not in the same suit 8. Two Pair Two separate pairs 10. High Card Otherwise unrelated crds are ranked by the highest single card 7
