We will again be awarding a Single-teacher and a Multi-teacher Sweepstakes award in which points will be tabulated from all interscholastic contests. Since the livestock judging contest is held to a later date, it WILL NOT be tabulated as part of the Sweepstakes award. This year s contest will offer competition in the divisions of g ommunications, g Mechanics, gronomy, airy Foods, Entomology, Horticulture Landscape/Nursery, Farm usiness Management, Food Science & Technology, Meat Science Evaluation and Veterinary Science. ontestants may only compete in one contest area. Note: ontests will be limited to 2 teams and 2 individuals per contest area. team may consist of 3 or 4 members with the top 3 scores for placing scores. Exceptions include: 1) g Mechanics: There will be a limit of one Junior (Freshmen and Sophomores) and one Senior (Juniors and Seniors) team (no individuals) per school for the g Mechanics contest. ontestants need to bring their own safety glasses, welding helmets, welding gloves, a pair of pliers and appropriate clothing and footwear. 2) Veterinary Science: There will be a limit of one team per school and no individual contestants. Each team must consist of 4 members and all scores are used in tabulation. The pre-entry deadline is January 18, The PRE-ENTRY fee for all contests except g Mechanics is $20.00 per team and $5.00 per individual, entries received the Y OF the contest will be $30.00 per team and $7.00 per individual. g Mechanics and Veterinary Science PRE-ENTRY fee will be $30 per team and Y OF entries will be $40 per team.
