2 2(26) 1. DESCRIPTION 1.1 General Rubber boots 90/K (complete) consists of: Boots made of black, semi-matt rubber of Butyl type. Textile lining (polyester) Heavy duty patterned sole adapted for ski binding cm high leg, size 270 Lacing at the back of the leg 2 pairs of detachable socks thermally insulated with polypropylene. 1 pair of detachable textile inner soles The rubber boots to protect the foot against NBC warfare agents; dump and cold. Rubber boot 90 STH to fulfil the requirements in EN ISO 20345: S4. Rubber boot 90 to fulfil the requirements in EN ISO 20347: O4

Merchandise, that has been crown marked and rejected during production, or at delivery control, must not be sold by the supplier on the public market before the crown mark has been removed or obliterated (Act of law , SFS nr 498/1970).

17 17(26) 4. MANUFACTURING Special requirements For the purposes of manufacturing, only moulds, tools, lasts, drawings, patterns and models supplied by FMV may be used. During the production, records from laboratory tests continuously are to be shown written according to the inspection plan, which has to be approved by FMV. Besides fulfilling the required function and all technical demands the workmanship to be of high quality with an aesthetic design

QUALITY ASSURANCE Supplier's Commitments The supplier shall establish and maintain an effective quality system that meets the requirements of EN ISO 9001, Quality management systems - Requirements. Permissible exclusion: Sub-clause 7.3, Design and development. The supplier shall provide FMV*, in good time before the start of production, with reference samples and material together with documents according to a, b, c, d, and e, listed below. The requirements in this Technical Specification must be fulfilled. a) EC Type approval. The boots to be EC type-examined by a notified body, accredited for the protective shoes, according to European Directives on Personal Protective Equipment (89/686/EEC) and according to EN ISO and EN ISO 20347, respectively. The Type-examination to be defrayed by the manufacturer. b) Reference samples from the production plant where the actual production is placed: 1 pair of finished boots, ½ pair in parts and ½ pair cut away boot (Longitudinal direction). c) Test report from an independent laboratory, accredited to perform test methods required in this specification, for: clause 3.1 rubber boot clause 3.5 Insulated sock clause 3.2 upper clause 3.3 outsole d) Technical data sheet, showing that the product fulfils the requirements, for: all including materials e) Separate samples of the following components shall be sent in: 1m Butyl rubber clause m of all lining textiles clause FMV assesses and approves the received material. Buyer's Quality Control FMV reserves the right to review the supplier's quality system and to make manufacturing and quality inspections during the current period of contract in a way that FMV considers suitable.

22 22(26) 8. PACKING INSTRUCTIONS The rubber boots 90 complete to be delivered with 2 pairs of thermally insulated socks and 1 pair of inner soles for each pair. Inner soles and one pair of insulated socks to be placed in the boots. The other pair of insulated socks to be laid in the cardboard box. 8.1 Ordering of packing The order must be in writing and sent to: FMCL, Styrmansgatan 14, SE ARBOGA; Sweden Fax: To state: - number of the current order, eg. LB-number - stock-number and stock-designation - desired number of boxes - number of labels per size FCBK encloses the adequate number of sealing tape required for the ordered number of boxes. 8.2 Spare packing The above mentioned packing shall be used exclusively in connection with the current order. 23 23(26) 8.6 Sealing tape M The cardboard boxes shall be sealed with the supplied sealing tape in such a way that the labels are not concealed. The bottom of the boxes shall be sealed with a lengthwise sealing tape both on the inside and outside of the box. Figure Information about the quality of the sealing tape The sealing tape is to be wet with water in order to get affixed The sealing tape is specially treated to protect the products against damp and other damages. 8.8 Packing Boxes not filled up N.B. More than one size in each cardboard box is not allowed. If all of one size does not fill up the whole of a box, the vacant space shall be filled up with other suitable materials. This filling must not generate dust or otherwise be detrimental to its contents. Exceptions, if any must be approved by FMV. Type of pallets 8.9 Marking Pre-printed data Figure 2. The supplier shall free of charge supply the requisite number of pallets.
