17 Funding opportunities available to companies or individuals to help with training needs. Funding opportunities include: Flexible Training Opportunities Flexible Training Opportunities gives Scottish businesses with up to 100 employees the opportunity to apply for up to 5,000 towards employee training costs. Low Carbon Skills Fund The Low Carbon Skills Fund gives employers in Scotland with up to 250 employees the opportunity to apply for up to 12,500 towards employee training costs. Individual Learning Account (ILA) People who are 16 and over and living in Scotland, with an income of 22,000 or less, or in receipt of a qualifying benefit can apply for an ILA - worth up to 200 towards the cost of learning or training - if: they do not have a degree or above; are not in secondary, further or higher education; are not training through the Employability Fund, or Modern Apprenticeship, nor participating in the Community Jobs Scotland programme. SAAS Part-time Fee Grant (part-time qualifications) The part-time fee grant gives help each year towards the cost of tuition fees.
