3 I. USERS WORKSHOP 1. PHASE Convention OPTIMUM CPV organised the PHASE convention on the May 2016 in Leuven, Belgium. The high quality of the presentations (done by Copernic partners and other speakers), the quality of the audience and networking, and of course the nice place have been highly appreciated. Besides the 11 presentations on the different tasks of COPERNIC, the program was completed by 8 presentations from high-profile stakeholders. The program (Appendix 1) reflected the current level of technology and allowed in-depth discussions about the requirements for the future. All presentations are available here: (password: H2tanks) and on the Copernic project website. The total of 45 participators came from 10 different countries, with a strong European representation but also attendees from Japan and the USA. It became clear that besides the costs issues, the challenges for the Fuel Cell Technology are also related to standardization and infrastructure issues. A strong signal is required from the automotive industry to enhance the required further steps and decision, also on a political level. Overall, this event was received very well and plans for PHASE 2017 have already been made. D06.06 Users workshop 3 / 5
