Built to maintain low operating costs, the Dionex Aquion IC system uses proven technologies to deliver results you can count on. It is a system designed to be easy to use, with fast startup times and stable performance. In addition, it is compatible with all Dionex suppressor technologies and column formats from 2 mm to 5 mm.

4 THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF IC ANALYSIS ELECTROLYTIC SUPPRESSION The Dionex Aquion IC system supports all types of Dionex suppression technologies for standard bore and microbore column formats, including MMS and ERS electrolytic suppressors, eliminating manual regenerant preparation. Among the advantages of electrolytic suppression are fast startup times, superior sensitivity for both cation and anion analysis, reduced background conductivity and enhanced day-to-day consistency. CONDUCTIVITY DETECTION The Dionex Aquion IC system is designed and optimized for applications using conductivity detection. The temperature-controlled, high-performance conductivity cell is unaffected by ambient temperature variations. In addition, digital control offers a wide dynamic range for detecting analytes with large concentration variations within the same sample. ADVANTAGES OF ELECTROLYTIC SUPPRESSION Reduced background conductivity and lower detection limits Fast startup times Superior sensitivity for both cation and anion analysis
