1 February Art & Design Exams 2016 Revision 1. You are going to make an ARTIST RESEARCH PAGE in your exam 2. Choose an artist to study, and collect images and information on them. Bring this to your next lesson, it will be your resource to use. You will then use this information on the page you make in your art exam Do all of your revision work in your school sketchbook it will enhance your grade for this term! GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY
2 What do I need to do in the Exam? Interpretation what ideas does it give you? How could you make these, visually? Research your chosen artist on you tube for example, watch clips like the one above, on Banksy The culture Show (8 minutes) Help form your own ideas and opinions, by hearing those of others..
11 How to make an Artist Research and Information Sketchbook Page Put the artist name and todays date at the top of your page Use Full sentences and quality illustrations in colour and tone, only please! Lay out your page like this, illustrating it as much as you can: 1. Key Facts: 2. Interesting Information: 3. Description of their style/ideas [with illustrations] : 4. What do they make/do/like/explore? 5. Who / what influences them? 6. What do they make their art from? 7. What questions would you ask them, if you could? 8. What would you tell them about your own art? 9. Now sum their art up in one paragraph, to describe it to someone who has never seen it Finally, illustrate their work, and annotate your drawings to describe them, filling the rest of your page with images, in full colour, and tone.
