7 About the Author Matt Lombard is an independent mechanical design consultant. He spent time as the Engineering Services Manager at a high tech manufacturer where his job included the work of a Documentation Manager as well as a mixed environment CAD Manager with both direct and indirect staff. Matt also has worked as a consultant and has performed dozens of implementations covering the setup and optimization of SolidWorks, Toolbox, and PDMWorks.
