2 RIMMED SOAP TUTORIAL Non-bleeding colors 2 or 3-inch round soap mold PROCESS-Making the Rim Cut up and melt the soap that you want to use as the rim. Pour soap into a thin sheet on a counter or pan, making sure it is even and level. Cut strips that are as wide as the height of your mold, and slightly longer than it s circumference. Fit the strips into the mold. The ends of the strip should overlap slightly. Press these ends tightly together. Melt enough clear MP soap to add a thin layer to each mold. This will prevent the additional soap that you add from getting between your mold and your rim. Spray the rims with alcohol then pour in a very thin layer of melted MP. Let set. PROCESS-Filling the Center Cut up and melt the soap that you want to use as the center. Let cool only until you are sure it will not melt the rim. Generously spray the rimmed molds with alcohol, to ensure the soap will stick together. Pour the soap into the molds, filling only to the top of the rim. Don t overflow the rims. Spray with alcohol to remove bubbles. When set, remove from mold and trim if necessary.

3 IMPRESSION MAT EMBEDS SOAP TUTORIAL 2 or 3 inch round soap mold PROCESS-Making the Mat Cut up and melt the soap that you want to use as the mat. Pour soap into a thin sheet on top of the mat, making sure it is even and level. Carefully peel off the mat. Take some melted soap, the same color as the base, and pour thin layer onto the soap you just made. Use a thin knife to scrape away the excess, leaving only enough soap to fill in the design. Cut into a shape that will fit your mold. PROCESS-Making the Base Cut up and melt the soap that you want to use as the base. Pour into mold and let harden. Make sure there is an inch left in the mold for the mat. PROCESS Putting it Together Generously spray the base with alcohol, to ensure the soap will stick together. Place the mat into the mold. Pour clear soap into the molds, covering the mat. Spray with alcohol to remove bubbles.

4 SOAP GEODE TUTORIAL 2 or 3 inch deep soap mold PROCESS-Prepare the Geode Center Cut up and melt the soap that you want to use as the geode. Pour soap into a square or rectangular mold. Cut similar size chunks, about ½ inch each. Use your hands to press the chunks into a tight ball. Use a little melted clear MP to help hold the ball together. Place into mold. PROCESS-Making the Rock Cut up and melt the soap that you want to use as the rock. Let cool only until you are sure it will not melt the geode. Generously spray the geodes with alcohol, to ensure the soap will stick together. Pour layers of soap on top of the geode until the mold is full. Spray with alcohol to remove bubbles. When hard, remove from mold. Use a knife to cut the rock into your desired shape.

5 GEOMETRIC SHAPES SOAP TUTORIAL 2 or 3 inch round soap mold PROCESS-Making the Embeds Cut up and melt the soap that you want to use as the rim. Pour soap into a thin sheet on a counter or pan, making sure it is even and level. Cut various size circles and rings. Fit the circles into the mold, fitting tightly to the bottom. Stack the circles and alternate the colors until the mold is full. PROCESS-Filling the Center Cut up and melt the clear soap. Let cool only until you are sure it will not melt the rim. Generously spray the embeds with alcohol, to ensure the soap will stick together. Pour the soap into the molds. Spray with alcohol to remove bubbles.
