2 LOGO STACKED LOGO The stacked logo should be used as the default logo throughout the APTIM brand, unless there are issues with horizontal spacing or alignment. STACKED LOGO MINIMUM CLEAR SPACE Do not crowd the logo by more than the height and width of the M. The exceptions include certain proposals or ducuments where a strict external guideline is enforced. ICON This is the primary version of the stacked logo and should be used in most situations that fall within style guidelines. WORDMARK INLINE LOGO INLINE LOGO MINIMUM CLEAR SPACE The inline logo should be used when there is more horizontal space than vertical. 3 LOGO Application STACKED LOGO This is the primary version of the stacked logo and should be used in most situations that fall within style guidelines. STACKED GRAYSCALE LOGO This version should be used for black and white printing or monochromatic color schemes. Place on light background. STACKED LOGO REVERSE STACKED LOGO REVERSE INLINE LOGO This version should be used for two-color printing in spaces where there is more horizontal space than vertical. INLINE GRAYSCALE LOGO This version should be used for black and white printing or monochromatic color schemes. Place on light background. INLINE LOGO REVERSE INLINE LOGO REVERSE FLAT ICON Should be used for two-color printing, or printing at a small scale, in which the definition of the shadows is lost. GRAYSCALE ICON Use for black and white printing, silkscreen. FLAT REVERSE ICON Reversed single color for use on dark backgrounds. FLAT REVERSE ICON Reversed single color for use on dark backgrounds.
4 COLOR USAGE USE OF PRIMARY COLORS In any given design or layout, the APTIM orange or blue should appear as the primary colors. You do not have to use both the blue and the orange in the same design. Plenty of white space should be present in designs to give a clean and modern feel. APTIM BLUE PANTONE 295 C USE OF SECONDARY COLORS DARK GRAY PANTONE 431 C This color should be used for body copy text, unless a document is grayscale or requires a specified color (ie. federal proposals). LIGHT GRAY PANTONE COOL GRAY 2 C This color should be used in moderation as a light accent. APTIM ORANGE PANTONE 151 C USE OF ACCENT COLORS The accent colors have two uses: As a color differentiator in charts and graphs To define and differentiate the APTIM SBUs BURGUNDY PANTONE 201 C SBU: Center of Excellence TEAL PANTONE 3272 C SBU: Government ROYAL BLUE PANTONE 660 C SBU: Power SAND PANTONE 4515 C SBU: Industrial/Commercial GOLD PANTONE 1235 C SBU: Oil, Gas & Chemical GREEN PANTONE 368 C SBU: Diversified Services
5 TYPEFACE Proxima Nova TYPEFACE USAGE Proxima Nova is a web-safe font that is available on Typekit. It is to be used on printed collateral. For typography usage on proposals, the proposal teams will reference the APTIM proposal templates. ABCDEGHIJKLMNOPQRSTVWXYZ abcdefghjklmnopqrstuvwxyz Arial TYPEFACE USAGE Arial is to be used when Proxima Nova is not available, such as with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) ABCDEGHIJKLMNOPQRSVWXYZ abcdefghjklmnopqrstuvwxyz
6 TONE OF PHOTOGRAPHY Photography should strive to be energizing, fresh, and upbeat. It should show a modern perspective incorporating bright lighting and a well lit background to help evoke feelings of positivity. SIZE & SPECIFICATIONS Print images should always be High Resolution, which is 300 DPI at 100% of actual size. LIFESTYLE IMAGERY In addition to the basic standards, all images should comply with Corporate HSE Standards for safety. PROPOSALS, WEBSITE, COLLATERAL Approximately 35% of photographs should include people, in order to add a feeling of trust and authenticity. Images should also show Collaboration as well as showcase principles of The Collaborative Way. Web images should be a minimum of 72 DPI at 100% of actual size. HIGHLIGHTING COLLABORATIVE WAY APPROXIMATELY 35% OF PHOTOGRAPHY DEDICATED TO PEOPLE EVOKING FEELINGS OF POSITIVITY AND HOPE COMPLYING WITH CORPORATE HSE SAFETY STANDARDS HEADSHOTS Photography should be set up in a well lit space with white background. EXPRESSION / POSE Natural smile Use a variety of poses (arms crossed, hand on hip, hands in pockets, etc.) CROP STANDARD Just above waist with head, left and right space APPEARANCE Professional attire Jacket and plain colored button up long sleeve / plain colored blouse and blazer Colors to wear (jewel tones) Avoid cream, beige, pastels, peach, yellow, and patterned fabric BACKGROUND AND LIGHTING Well lit White background POSITIONING Subject at a slight angle Eye level Head and left/right side space IMAGE QUALITY High resolution image HEADSHOT WITH WHITE BACKGROUND
