It looks like we will complete 36+ quilts to give to the Children's Hospital of San Antonio through the Quilts for Kids charity. They need help year round if you are interested! We were also able serge a HUGE pile of the practice longarm pieces to donate as kennel quilts. Great people, great time, great food and great fellowship! When stitching smaller pieces you should use smaller stitches and finer weight of thread. Stitch length 2.0 or 14 stitches per inch vs 3.0 or 9 stitches per inch. 10 Recipe THE POTATOES THE Potatoes by Claudia This dishwas brought to our community sew day and OH MY GOODNESS! YUMMO! Thank you Claudia!! 2 Cans Cream of Potato 1/2 Cup Sour Cream 2 Cups shredded mild cheddar 1 lb. hashbrowns (Ida cube style) Preheat oven to 350. Butter the pan well. Add soup, sour cream, cheese, and potatoes. Bake at 350 for one hour. I'll send out the pie recipe next week.
