3 Installing the Inline Connector Use the inline connector when attaching: - End Panel - Utility Pole - End Panel with Utility Pole 1 Insert the pre-assembled connector into the end of the beam and secure using the fasteners (included). 1 M8x1.25x70MM METRIC FLAT HEAD SCREW 5MM HEX DRIVE NOTE: For Utility Pole Installations: Attach Utility Pole L bracket now, prior to attaching an End Panel. Loop Leg assembly is the same. 2 Attach left and right End Panel Brackets 1a #10-12 x 5/8 TRUSS HEAD SCREW WITH #2 QUADREX SQUARE DRIVE 2 1b #10-12 x 5/8 TRUSS HEAD SCREW WITH #2 QUADREX SQUARE DRIVE Screws will be fully tightened later. 5 Assembling & Attaching the End Panel (cont.) Position infill onto leg. Rotate mounting brackets onto leg, align with holes and install screws. Install top screw first, then the screws in the sides. 8 Assembling & Attaching the Utility Pole (see pages 4-7 for Assembling & Attaching the End Panel) Refer to page 10 for information on removing ceiling tile. 1 Install square aluminum block onto utility pole with 1/4-20 x 3/4 button head screws as shown. 1/4-20 x 3/4 BUTTON HEAD SCREW #2 PHILLIPS DRIVE 3 Attach bracket to rail and secure with M6x1.00x13mm button head screws provided. 1 Drive bolts through inside of power pole. BLOCK UTILITY POLE 3 M6x1.00x13MM METRIC BUTTON HEAD SCREW T30 TORX DRIVE BRACKET 2 a) Thread glide into pole base, then b) snap base into bottom of utility pole. BASE 2a 2b Page 8 of 21

9 Assembling & Attaching the Utility Pole (cont.) 4 5 Position pole assembly so that block extends into rail extrusion. Attach pole to bracket with (2) 1/4-20 x 3/4 button head screws provided. NOTE: Before routing power cords, attach utility pole to ceiling. See page Page 9 of 21

10 Install Utility Pole into a Ceiling 1 Remove the ceiling tile where the utility pole will be placed. 3 Assemble ceiling trim plate Bend retainers up and insert ceiling trim plate into the ceiling tile cut-out. 2 Cut ceiling tile hole. 3-1/4" x 6-1/4" 3-1/8" /8" Page 10 of 21

11 Install Utility Pole into a Ceiling (cont.) 5 Place ceiling tile with trim plate back in ceiling. 7 Insert the vertical channel through the ceiling tile hole. NOTE: If the vertical channel extends above the ceiling tile more than 4 inches mark and cut excess material off before securing to the frame or junction bracket. 5 4" max 7 6 Remove adjacent ceiling tile. 6 8 Route any power cords, harness and data cables as needed. Secure crossbar to the ceiling grid. #8-18x 3/8" #8-18 x 1/4" Attach slotted adjustment bracket to the cross bar and fully tighten screw. #8-18 x 1/4" 12 Attach slotted adjustment bracket to the ceiling bracket. Be sure not to fully tighten the screws. Gold #8-18 x.360" Page 12 of 21

13 Install Utility Pole into a Ceiling (cont.) 13 Secure junction box to ceiling bracket and complete cabling. MODULAR HARDWIRE Snap the cover in place along the length of the vertical channel. Tighten screws connecting the slotted adjustment bracket to the ceiling bracket as shown on step 12. TO BUILDING TO BEAM 13 #8-18 x 1/4" 14 #8-18 x 3/8" Pan Head STOP: BEFORE PROCEEDING, ALL POWER AND DATA SHOULD BE INSTALLED. HAVE ALL NECESSARY INSPECTIONS BEEN COMPLETED? Page 13 of 21

18 Attaching Lifting Column Covers 1 Remove the backing film (release liner) from the dual lock tape. 2 Align the interior cover holes with the holes in the lifting column connector (2a) and attach using screws provided (2b). 20 Attaching Lifting Column Covers (cont.) 4 Press down at the locations shown to bond the dual lock tape to the lifting columns. 5 Align the flat edges of the Top Covers with the center beam, and press down to bond the dual lock tape ATTACH EXTERIOR COVERS IN THE SAME MANNER AS THE INTERIOR COVERS Page 20 of 21

21 Leveling the Assembly 1 Before use, the table must be completely leveled, front-to-back and side-to-side using the height adjustable glides. Failure to do this could cause the lifting columns to bind. 2 After the table has been leveled, adjust the End Panel and/or Utility Pole glides. 2 2X GLIDE 1 4X 2 Page 21 of 21
