The 552 N/mm 2 ductile iron base has superior vibration damping characteristics. The ability to carve part profiles on all four sides of the movable jaws adds versatility and economical advantages. DLUM mm Vise Base Shown with DLUM6ALU-Jaw Kit. Features: Productivity - multiple part workholding for better spindle utilization, reduced tool change time, and reduced machine travel from part to part. Durability N/mm 2 ductile iron body and steel components provide strength, rigidity and long term accuracy while absorbing any machining vibration. Flexibility - quick change jaws reduce set-up times for greater part turn-arounds. Economy - jaws may be machined on all four sides (aluminum or ductile iron). Self adjusting throughout entire clamping range. Can clamp A and B loads in same set-up. The hydraulic DoubleLock vise provides repeatable clamping for high accuracy machining and handles a higher horsepower cut than the manual version. The compact design features a wide range of clamping forces up to 56 kn. It offers ultra-precision function through these important design features: The original, time proven Kurt AngLock design prevents parts from lifting upward under heavy clamping loads. The pull-type jaw clamping reduces jaw stationary deflection by at least 80%. The one piece vise body and stationary jaw provide greater strength while reducing weight. 20 MINILOCK MTM4 MTM5 MTM6 MTM8 MODULAR WORKHOLDING MINILOCK Unlike many competitive cam action models, this product employs the same AngLock concept as the world famous Kurt vises. When a quarter turn is applied to the screw, the split clamp jaw is forced both laterally and down, precisely clamping the part and preventing part lift at the same time. In-house tests showed zero lift when the MiniLock was used in several grinding operations. Features: By using stationary blocks or pins, two parts may be clamped by a single MiniLock. The versatile MiniLock can be used in single holding, double holding or multiples of both single and double holding applications. Ideal for hard fixturing as well as for palletizing small parts to be loaded into receivers on machine tables. Through the use of a variety of locating blocks, workstops and MiniLocks, several similar parts or a part family can be located on a single pallet. Clamping jaw made from rugged Ampco 18 aluminum bronze. Actuating screw is made from a special alloy steel. While one pallet of parts is being machined, the operator can be unloading and loading a second similarly configured pallet away from the machine tool. Steps may be machined into the clamp jaw for operations that require parts to be raised above the pallet or machine table. The low profile allows for machining of complete top surfaces of parts without having to re-clamp. Conveniently uses standard thread sizes and standard hex keys. D-Series vises are ideal for use in running production parts where datums, flatness and parallelism is important. You can precision bore, tap, drill, grind and finish with high accuracy on most parts made of die cast aluminum, steel, and iron in your Kurt Anglock vises. No other brand can give you the time proven accuracy of the Kurt Anglock vises. All Kurt vises have a friction reducing, needle bearing, thrust collar. 26 VISE ACCESSORIES HANDLES, HEX EXTENSIONS ARMLOCK HANDLE AL6 Shown in #2 Position ArmLock adjustable lever length handle is designed to allow spinning of a 152.4mm vise screw with the lever in the central position for fast jaw movement and light work clamping. Comfortable higher torque clamping is possible with the lever in the #2 position. By adding a hex extension adapter, the handle can be used on or 203.2mm vises. The hex portion of the AL6 has a set screw to prevent accidental removal. KURT SPEED HANDLE D40SH D60SH Speed Handles reduce clamping time. The Speed Handles fit and 152.4mm Kurt AngLock vises. The Speed Handles do not interfere with the milling machine giving you rapid part loading and unloading. You get Kurt quality in this custom steel design, no aluminum hex to strip.
