3 VISES VISES DOVETAIL VISE This innovative clamping component is designed to hold pre-machined parts on a 15 degree angle. Two precision bushing allow for quick and easy precision location of vise. Two precision dowel screws F are used to locate vise on 2 grid systems (included). 1/2-13 SHCS used to mount vise on 2 grid systems (included). Bottom of dove tail maximum part width 4 for F-xxxx8-xx p/ns and 5 for F-xxxx9-xx p/ns. Applications Machine a dovetail into the stock material to incorporate a superior holding solution. This type of machining setup is quick, easy and ideal for certain parts. Just mill the dovetail off when complete. These vises are ideal for use in running production where datums, flatness, and parallelism are important. 8 VISES VISES STOCK PREP FIXTURE The Invert-A-Bolt Universal Stock Prep Fixture* is ideal for prepping or maching stock material. The Stock Prep Fixture is similar to a mill vise but with several advantages: being able to accept larger stock sizes, having greater holding power, the ability to drill through without damaging the fixture, positive location in either axis, a fixed zero location for the stock material. Stock greater than.530 thick can be faced without collision with the fixture. It is constructed from Grey Cast Iron, ASTM Class 40 or as specified by the customer. These fixtures work great either as stand alone fixtures or as stock prep components on the tombstone. * Optional fixture plate configurations are also available. Call for further information. Applications Stock prep or fixture prep The advantages of using Invert-A-Bolt Stock Prep Fixture: Off-the-shelf, turn-key solution 2 pieces (or mirror opposites) can be prepped in one operation.
