These tips have been compiled to lead you to a successful assembly. We know you can do this! If you still run into trouble, you can call our Prevue Customer Service line at 1 (312) INCLUDED HELPFUL TOOLS 2 NEEDED An allen wrench is included with the hardware. You will need a small adjustable wrench for the seed guards. You may also need a pair of needle nose pliers. You may want to use your own hand or power tools, but PREVUE is not responsible for damage caused by over-tightening or improper use. 3 FRIEND ME! FIND A FRIEND (or GO IT ALONE both are OK) If you follow these steps, cage assembly will be easy for one person. But you may find a second person s assistance useful in some steps. REVIEW ALL PARTS & HARDWARE After unpacking all components, review all parts and count the contents of the screw packets and compare the quantities against the Hardware List on the Parts List page. Do not overcrowd the cage environment. Periodically supervise birds at play and inspect toys for replacement or replenishment.

Make sure the cage is not in direct sun, or that your bird will have plenty of shaded areas. Keep the cage away from strong fumes and odors. You will need these pieces: ]F ]R1 Lay the front panel on the floor. Slip the tab on the lower side panel onto the sleeve on the frame leg. Attach the panels together at the top with one LONG screw. Add the other side panel and the back panel, and secure all top corners with a LONG screw. ]B [ 4 ] LONG ]L1 Fully insert the rolling casters into the base of the frame legs. When this stage is complete, stand the cage upright. HMRTONE 12/17 USL.5

6 2 Assemble the cage SIDES & ROOF. You will need these pieces: Slip the side panels into place, guiding the panel down through the brackets. At the base of the panels, insert the extended center wire into the hole on the side panel frame. ]L2 ]R2 [ 4 ] SHORT Insert the corner posts at the base of the roof frame into the open corners on the cage frame. 7 3 Assemble the PLAYTOP UNIT. You will need these pieces, in this order: ]Pt2.a ]Pt2.b [ 2 ] LONG Insert the post from PT2.1 into the open end of PT2.2. Attach this unit to the playtop with LONG screws. ]Pt3 [ 2 ] LONG Attach the PT3 perch/cup bar to the unit with LONG screws. ]Pt5.a ]Pt5.b ]Pt1 Insert the PT5 cup holders into the perch/cup bar, and then insert the PT5 cups into the holders. Insert the PT 1 playtop tray. ]Pt6 SHORT PERCH Insert the PT6 short perch into the perch/cup bar. Insert the PT4 ladder into the perch/ cup bar at the top end, and into the playtop frame at the bottom end. ]Pt4 HMRTONE 12/17 USL.7

8 4 Install the ACCESSORIES. You will need these pieces: Install the perch by inserting both slotted ends onto a horizontal wire of an even height. ]T ]G Open the cup door. Insert the cup holder into the sleeves. Insert the cup into the cup holder. Insert the tray into the bottom channels. Insert the grille into the top channels. Hook the grille clip onto the short horizontal wire above the tray. Clip the top portion over the grille handle to secure the grille in place. 9 5 Assemble the SEED GUARDS. You will need these pieces: ]Sg2 [ 8 ] SHORT with Nuts SEED GUARDS: Both SIDE guards (left & right) have extended TABS at the bottom corners. The front guard has NOTCHES along the bottom strip. To make assembly easier, flip the FRONT and SIDE guard upside down on the floor as shown. Align the holes on the flashing strips at the corners. Insert a SHORT screw through both guards and tighten the nut in place. ]Sg4 ]Sg3 ]Sg1 Follow the same method with the BACK guard and SIDE guard panels. ]Sg1 ]Sg2 Flip the two-piece seed guard units right-side-up. Make sure the FRONT guard with the notches along the bottom is positioned at the front of the cage. Insert the TABS on the SIDE guards into the sleeves on the frame legs. Finish attaching the seed guards together at the two open corners with the remaining short screw/nut pairs. H Your playtop home is now fully assembled and ready for use. HMRTONE 12/17 USL.9
