Toys & Games The Mall Climate Developer/Mall parameters and expectations are constantly evolving, putting more pressure on tenants; even temporary tenants to look and perform better than ever before. Coupled with increased rent, decreased kiosk location availability and tighter lease terms the focus on our Inline Stores is greater and therefore very important to our overall store portfolio. How your Inline store performs from build out to tear down is critical. This performance will not only be judged by revenue; overall store presentation, and merchandising, along with customer service provided is scrutinized more and more by the mall and developer personnel. Company Goals It s our goal to provide you with the tools, resources and products required to meet the expectations of the developers and the malls, which are aligned with our goals for build, overall store presentation, merchandising and customer service. What can you do? Be sensitive to and understand the Mall climate and align yourself with the company goals. 2 INLINES ~ 24 x 15 Category Signage The 24 x 15 graphics are designed specifically for the top of the 8 foot towers. As per your plan-o-gram merchandise is placed only up to approximately the 6 mark for ease of shopping. The space above is for the 24 x 15 graphics. Place the graphics as indicated in your plan-o-gram for each of these sections. Please reference the information below for hanging instructions. Tower top graphics are an eye catching way to add to the polished visual landscape of the store and provide the customer with information about the types of products and promotions we have. There are tower top graphics for Calendar, Games and Toys. 24x15 Calendars 24x15 Games 24x15 Toys s P/N Blowup 23 Gotcha Strip P/N Blowup Gotcha Clip 8ft tower (English & French) Snap open the Gotcha strip Blowup 23 Gotcha Strip Insert the 24 x 15 graphic by sliding it into the groove on the Gotcha. Snap the Gotcha closed for a tight secure hold. Along the back of the Gotcha strip there is a channel to insert ( ) Blowup Gotcha Clip ***This is a sample of a gotcha. Our gotcha strips are clear.*** Snap Gotcha Clip into place approx. 1 from the end. Repeat the same on the other side of the Gotcha strip Clip the Gotcha holders to the 8ft tower centre aligned along the top horizontal bar. Place the graphic behind the product if there is any overlap. Reference your plan-o-gram for placement of each graphic.

3 INLINES ~ 24 x 15 Category Customer Service Graphic This graphic is designed to make it easy for the customer to locate the cash desk. It should be placed above the POS at approximately the same level as the 24x15 graphic on the 8ft towers. Depending on what is behind/around your cash desk you have a few options for hanging this graphic. 1. If there is grid behind your cash desk, hang the graphic centred behind the cash desk on the top of the grid using the same fixtures as all the other 24x15 graphics that you have hung. 2. Hang the graphic from the T Strap ceiling using the following instructions. 3. If neither option is available, use two sided tape to secure the graphic at the same level as the other 24x15 graphic on the wall behind the POS. Make sure that the graphic is flush to the wall with no corners lifting. Graphic Sample s P/N Blowup 23 Gotcha Strip P/N Blowup Fish Clip P/N Blowup Eye Clip P/N Blowup 10 Invisible Hook Customer Service Graphic Installation (English & French) Insert the graphic into Blowup 23 Gotcha Strip based on the instructions on the previous page. Snap the Eye clip into the groove on the back of the gotcha holder about 1 inch in. Do the same on the other end. Over the cash desk or just behind and centred clip the Fish Clips over the T strapping about 24 apart. Hook the 10 Invisible hook through the loop on the Fish Clip and through one of the Eye Clips on the graphic. Repeat the same for the other end.

4 INLINES ~ 24 x 6 Category Header The 24 x 6 category headers for inlines are placed on the top of the 5 high wall calendar sections that are usually free standing throughout the centre of the store floor space. They serve the same purpose they do in the kiosks they guide our customers to the categories of merchandise that is available in the store. P/N Sign Holder for Grid Category with Ratchet Base 24x6 Category Headers (English & French) Each sign holder ( ) will be installed at the centre top of the 5ft & 4ft grid shelf sections between the two top shelves. Refer to your floor plan for exact placement. Note: Make sure that the grid is set-up so that the straight part of the holder is between the two pieces of grid. To do this, the horizontal bar must be facing out on at least one side. Line the category holder up to be centred over the grid shelf. Match the rounded side of the gripper with the side of the grid where the bars are horizontal. Start with one end of the gripper and push the gripper onto the grid. Horizontal Side Facing Out. Place the category header on this piece.. Once the corner is on, push down the rest of the holder until it is secure around the horizontal bar. Straight Part Horizontal Vertical Using the ratchet mechanism, you can adjust the angle of the sign holder so that it is at right angles to the top and face of the shelves. Place the category header (24x6) into the holder by starting at one end and sliding the graphic across the front of the holder. Repeat on the other side. Repeat these steps for all the category headers.

5 INLINES ~ 12 x 1.5 Category Header Shelf talkers and 12 x 1.5 category graphics speak to each section s game or toy category. Use these where indicated on the store floor plan and plan-o-gram. They will be placed on the shelves in the 5 high free standing game and toy sections throughout your inline store. P/N HOLDER/ACRYLIC/SHELF TALKER Installing the Shelf Talkers Slide the graphic into the groove that is on the back of the holder. Line the category holder up to be centred over the grid shelf. Typically, each shelf talker should be installed at the front of the top shelf in it s section. In some cases there are sections with two categories of games that will require more than one shelf talker. On the 1 Pod for example, there is a section with Strategy (3 shelves) & Puzzled (2 shelves). The Strategy graphic will go on the front of the top shelf and the Puzzled graphic would go on the front of the 2nd to bottom shelf. See details of your placement in your Plan-o-gram. Start with one end of the shelf talker and push the gripper onto the grid. Once the corner is on, push down the rest of the holder until it is secure around the horizontal bar. Push the top flat part down so that the frame snaps in place. Sometimes these can be difficult to install but the more you do the easier it will become. On the new 5ft wide shelves, you will use the same holders. These will be tight putting them on but they will work.

6 INLINES ~ 9.5 x 3 Bin Talkers The 9.5 x 3 Bin Talkers are designed to call out the selection of items located in the bins. There are two designs for the wall calendar bins 1. Browse our bins, and 2. Website. For giftwrap the graphic calls out the prices as they are NOT printed on the back. P/N Sign Holder for Bin 9.5x3 ENGLISH FRENCH Bin Talkers (English & French) Slide the Sign Holder for Bin 9.5x3 ( ) over the opening on the front of the bin until it snaps into place. Once the Sign Holder for Bins is in place Slide the appropriate 9.5 x 3 graphic into the channel. NEW! Mini Bin We have new mini bins for calendars and wrap. There are no graphics for the calendars. for the mini wrap there is a graphic that calls out the price as they are NOT printed on the back. P/N Sign Holder for mini bin talker 7.5x3 Slide the graphic holder over the opening on the front of the mini wrap bin until it snaps into place. Once the graphic holder is in place, slide the 7.5 x 3 graphic into the channel at the front.

7 Hang Tags INLINES ~ Hang Tags See the instruction included with the hang tags for more details These hang tags are designed to be attached to the large toy items that are on display on the floor. Included with this graphic guide is a sheet of labels to be used on the bottom of the hang tag to indicate the price of the item. Using the appropriate label, stick it on the back at the bottom of the tag. These graphics are designed so that consumers can at a glance know that they can purchase this item. Use a cable tie/string/ribbon and attach the tag to the item. Make sure that there are no sharp edges if you are using a cable tie as children will be using these items. Front Back INLINES ~ 8.5 x 11 Talkers The 8.5 x 11 graphics are designed to call out a specific category and are placed on either the tower tops or the cash desk. There are two types of holders for the 8.5 x 11 graphics. There is the typical acrylic holders an the new adjustable holder. PlasmaCar P/N Sign Holder Adjustable for 8.5 x x 11 Sign Holder Adjustable This holder will serve multiple purposes during the season, including being used for the 8.5x11 graphics and for promotions. Slide an 8.5 x 11 graphic into the gripper on both sides. The grippers are tight so you will need to be careful to not damage the graphic. Since these are adjustable you will have the ability to extend it up to 24 high. For the 8.5 x 11 graphics the holder should only extend to max 18 high. If required, place the Now Hiring Graphic on the Cash Desk. Max 18 height These holders will be used for all the promotions this season. Store these in a safe place until the beginning of the promotions.

8 INLINES ~ 12 x 4 Calendar Talkers These graphics are used to call out the category of the calendars around the tower. These MUST be place on the 5ft sections in your store so that they are approximately eye level to the customers. P/N Sign Holder 6 with Grip 12 x 4 (English) Insert the 12 x 4 graphic into the gripper on the top of the holder. Set the holder with graphic on the top of the 5ft tower topper. Place approximately 6 back from the edge of the topper. INLINES ~ 22 x 28 x 60 Push Out Sign Holder NEW! For all your promos this year you will be using the x 28 Floor Standing Sign Holder 60 H Place the appropriate poster in the sign holder, (depending on the week and the promotion). Push the sign out in front of the store daily so that the signage is visible to mall traffic. If you run out of toys or games before the end of the promotion remove the sign holder from view. If your mall does not allow pushout signs then place the sign at the front of your store in the doorway x 28 Floor Standing Sign Holder 60 H x 28 Floor Standing Sign Holder 60 H with sample graphic

9 INLINES ~ 16 x 18 Blowup The 16 x 18 graphics are designed to call out the Get Organized (Minis and Engagements) section and increase add on sales. These MUST be place on the 5ft sections in your store so that they are at eye level to the customers. P/N /8 x 3 1/2 Large Gripper Bar Free-Standing 2 per sign 16 x 18 Blowups INLINES ~16 x 18 Engagement & Mini Calendars Attach the two large grippers to the bottom of the graphic towards the outside corners. Wipe down the top of the 5ft tower that this graphic is going on. DO NOT remove the tape backer The graphic will only fit it the top of the fixture diagonally. Please refer to your plan-o-gram for merchandising the shelves. If you have a smaller configuration, then you will receive a 6 Life Made Easy disc to attach to the section.
