3 ES S AccelerateKID ES offer a 6:1 (student to instructor ra o) technology educa on like no other. Kids learn in depth knowledge about the technology they love. All classes run once a week for a dura on of 4-9 months all year round. AccelerateKID S offer an introduc on to our full course classes. All camps run for 5 consecu ve days (Mon-Fri), 3 hours per day. You can mix and match our camps to give your child the full AccelerateKID experience CODING 101 SCRATCH JR Coding 101 Scratch Jr introduces kids to computer programming using M.I.T. s Scratch visual programming language. Scratch is a color coded, drag and drop, block event-based system that even college kids are using to learn computer science. Students will learn the basic concepts behind computer programming, variables, loops, if-then commands and much more. CODING 201 SCRATCH SR Coding 201 Scratch Sr expands on the computer programming concepts learned in Coding 101 Scratch Jr. Kids will learn how to develop advanced games like Galaga and Frogger to heighten their programming skills with logic operators, loops, variables and more. Students will customize, develop and present their final project to conclude Scratch programming skills. CODING 301 BITS BOX PREREQUISITE REQUIRED Coding 301 Bits Box teaches kids ages the fundamentals of computer programming using the Bits Box programming language. AccelerateKID uses Bits Box to introduce students to typed programming languages, and to prepare them for more the more advanced languages offered at AccelerateKid; Python and Java. Students will design and develop programs and eventually create their own and more. CODING 401 PYTHON PREREQUISITE REQUIRED Coding 401 Python teaches kids the fundamentals of computer programming using Python programming language. Students will learn the basics of computer science, how to write in Python language, understand how to debug, and how to develop videos games using Pygames. Students will design and develop Pygames like matching and text adventure games using func ons, tables, lists and more. CODING 501 JAVA PREREQUISITE REQUIRED Coding 501 Java course is for kids who have successfully completed AccelerateKID Coding 401 App Inventor course. Students will complete group exercises and individual projects to develop apps using Android SDK, Android Studio, Eclipse and plugins. Students will learn the process of developing and launching an app onto the Google Play, and understand XML markup language and Object Oriented Programming. CODING

4 GAME DESIGN MINECRAFT 101 EDUCATION Minecra 101 Educa on is for kids to learn and use the Minecra PC/Mac Edi on. Minecra is more than a sandbox game. Students will use the AccelerateKID Minecra server open world to complete group exercises and individual projects to develop their own world, landmarks, towns and arenas. The goal is to know how to use the Minecra crea ve and survival controls, features, graphic op ons, game configura ons and more. MINECRAFT 201 TECHNOLOGY Minecra 201 Technology is for kids to go beyond playing Minecra and learn the survival mode and backend technology of the game. Students will complete the End World, understand good file management prac ce, navigate through directories, acquire resource packs, install mul ple mods and much more. The class will prepare kid for the Minecra 301 Server and Game Design class. MINECRAFT 301 SERVER Minecra 301 Server and Game Design will teach kids how to install their own Minecra Server and design games on their server using the popular sandbo game. Students will master Minecra technology by implemen ng a server, understanding port forward and crea ng game arenas (including PVP, Spleef, Capture the Flag and more). MINECRAFT 401 PYTHON PREREQUISITE REQUIRED Minecra 401 Python will teach kids how to use Python programming language with their Minecra server that was built in the Minecra 301 course. Python is the programming language to start prior to more advanced languages including Java. The goal is for students to learn the basics of Python language to create new features and items in their Minecra server and client. MINECRAFT 501 JAVA PREREQUISITE REQUIRED Minecra 501 Java Mod will teach kids how to use Java programming language with their Minecra server built in Minecra 301 course. Minecra modding is the most popular feature and knowledge of Java is necessary. The goal is for students to learn Java language and create mods in their Minecra server and client. COMPUTER BUILDING The AccelerateKID Computer Building Camp will teach kids about computer parts, how to assembly a desktop computer and installing Linux opera ng system and free so ware. Kids will learn about motherboard, video board, RAM, ROM, Linux O/S, fans, cases and more. AccelerateKID uses the Minecra PC Edi on (NOT the Pocket, Xbox or tablet) to teach students server building, game design, entrepreneurship and computer programming.

Students will learn how to program func onal robots through prac cal exercises including controlling the robots, comple ng challenging courses, and programming it to be autonomous using the Go, Path and Blockly apps. ROBOTICS 201 LEGO EV3 Kids are introduced to robo cs and computer programming using LEGO Mindstorms robots and EV3 programming so ware. Students will build an autonomous LEGO robot by learning the func ons and mechanics of LEGO robots including sensors, switches, blocks and more. Students will complete projects including the roomba, robo parade, sumo challenge and more. ROBOTICS 301 FLL TEAM PREREQUISITE REQUIRED Robo cs 301 FLL Team allows kids to par cipate and compete for the AccelerateKID robo cs team. Students will be coached and mentored by experienced instructors to build, program, problem solve and collaborate as a team. Kids will compete at First LEGO League and Robofest compe ons. The class meets twice a week. ROBOTICS 3 LEGO CHALLENGER PREREQUISITE REQUIRED This AccelerateKID Robo cs Camp will use the LEGO EV3 robots to build and program. Kids will learn problem solving, complete challenges, apply S.T.E.A.M. educa on to projects, and work in a team environment. The goal is to build and program LEGO EV3 robots for a Sumo Challenge on the last day to present. ROBOTICS 401 JAVA PREREQUISITE REQUIRED Kids learn Java programming language with LEGO Mindstorms NXT robots using lejos. This is an advanced robo c programming class for students who wants to learn Java with robo cs. Students will learn the basic of Java language, syntaxes and commands to program the LEGO robots using lejos NXJ. ROBOTICS 501 ARDUINO PREREQUISITE REQUIRED *BUSINESS MODEL DEVELOPMENT** Robo cs 501 Arduino is for kids ages to learn C++ on the Arduino pla orm. This is an advanced course for students who want to take a deeper dive into robo cs and programming. Students will learn the basic of C++, simple robot design, and basic electronics. ROBOTICS

6 DIGITAL ARTS 3D PRINTING 301 AUTODESK 123D The 3D Prin ng 301 course teaches kids how to design 3D (3-Dimensional) models using Autodesk 123D Design and Meshmixer programs then kids print their crea ons in 3D using Makerbot Desktop so ware. The class encourages students to use crea vity in troubleshoo ng, engineering and product design. This is a great course to introduce children to 3D prin ng, and the basic fundamentals of design within a 3D environment. ANIMATION 301 UNITY PREREQUISITE REQUIRED Anima on 301 Unity teaches kids how to design 3D and 2D anima on and video games using the Unity Game Design Engine. Unity is u lized by companies such as Cartoon Network Studios. Students in this course will learn to use the Unity so ware with C# (C-sharp) programming language allowing students to not only create their own characters code them as well. STOP MOTION ANIMATION STUDIO In Stop Mo on Anima on Studio Camp, kids will gain insight to the ins and outs of stop mo on anima on from pre-produc on to post-produc on using Stop Mo on Studio. Campers will develop their own story idea, storyboard, pitch, present and receive peer and instruc onal feedback. Campers will present a short stop mo on film at the end of camp. VIDEO 301 YOUTUBE Every business has a website or a blog site. In Digital Arts Video 301 YouTube, kids will learn how to record, edit, stream and manage their very own YouTube channel. Using Microso MovieMaker, Apple imovie, YouTube Editor and Open Broadcast So ware, students will learn how to conceptualize, storyboard, plan, design and execute video produc on and present their projects at the conclusion of the class. WEB DESIGN 301 WIX Every business has a website and/or a blog site. Digital Arts Web Design 301 Wix teaches kids how to design a professional looking website using Wix technology. Wix is a cloud based site development tool that allows users to build an HTML5 desktop and mobile compa ble website through the use of professional templates and a drag and drop interface.
