Vintage Wedding A timeless elegance is created with the classic style of antique wedding gowns. This look was created using floral craft paper, ribbon and flowers, all with the same cream tone. 1
Small Box Difficulty Medium Materials: Cream, frosted wrapping paper Cream floral scrapbooking or craft paper 1-1/2-inch wide, cream wired satin ribbon 1 large cream flower, stem removed 2 bunches of small cream flowers Scotch Paper Cutter (for cutting wrapping paper) Scotch Double Sided Tape (for wrapping the gift) Scotch Precision Scissors (6 for cutting ribbon and 8 for cutting craft paper) Scotch Permanent Glue Stick (for attaching craft paper) Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue (for gluing the flowers) Instructions: 1. Wrap a box in cream wrapping paper. 2. Cut a piece of the floral craft paper 1 inch smaller than the width of the top of the box and the length to wrap around the entire box plus 1 inch. 3. If the craft paper is not long enough to wrap around the entire box, tape two pieces together on the wrong side of the paper, matching the pattern, to achieve the desired length. 4. Using the Scotch Permanent Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the craft paper, especially around the edges. Attach the craft paper to the box, centering the paper evenly on the top of the box and overlapping the ends on the bottom of the box. 5. Cut a piece of cream ribbon long enough to wrap around the entire box 4 times. Note: Ribbon measurements are approximate. The lengths may have to be adjusted slightly based on the size of the box used. 6. Wrap the ribbon around the box and tie a knot. 2
7. Using the ends, tie a bow on one side of the box the same way shoelaces are tied. Adjust the loops so they are even with each other. 8. With the remaining length of the ends, tie a bow on the opposite side of the box to create a 4-loop bow, adjusting all loops so they are even with each other and have an open form. 3
9. Trim the ends to matching lengths, cutting them into a V and bending them to form a nice shape. Keep the tails long so they will flow over the side of the box. 10. Using the Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, attach the large fabric flower onto the center of the bow. 11. Apply glue to the end of a bunch of small flowers and slide under the large flower on the side with the tails. Repeat with the other bunch of small flowers on the opposite side of the gift. 4
Medium Box Difficulty - Easy Materials: Cream, frosted wrapping paper Cream floral scrapbooking or craft paper 1-1/2-inch wide, cream satin ribbon 2 large cream flowers, stems removed Scotch Paper Cutter (for cutting wrapping paper) Scotch Double Sided Tape (for wrapping the gift) Scotch Precision Scissors (6 for cutting ribbon and 8 for cutting craft paper) Scotch Permanent Glue Stick (for attaching craft paper) Scotch Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing ribbon) Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue (for gluing the flowers) Instructions: 1. Wrap a box in cream paper. 2. Cut a piece of the floral scrapbook paper about 2 inches smaller than the width of the top of the box and the length to wrap around the entire box plus 1 inch. 5
5. Cut a piece of ribbon long enough to wrap around the box twice plus 5 inches. Note: Ribbon measurements are approximate. The lengths may have to be adjusted slightly based on the size of the box used. 6. Centering the ribbon on the bottom of the box, bring the both sides of the ribbon to the center top of the box and tie in a knot. 7. Tie the ends again into a loose knot and bring the ribbon down on opposite sides of the box. 8. Glue the overlapping the ends on the bottom of the box with the precision tip of Scotch Clear Glue. 6
9. Using the Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, apply glue to the bottom of a flower and attach to the box near the knot, between the two strips of the ribbon. Repeat on the opposite side of the knot. 7
Large Box Difficulty Easy Materials: Cream, frosted wrapping paper Cream floral scrapbooking or craft paper 1-1/2-inch wide, cream wired satin ribbon 1 large cream flower, stem removed 4 bunches of small cream flowers Scotch Paper Cutter (for cutting wrapping paper) Scotch Double Sided Tape (for wrapping the gift) Scotch Precision Scissors (6 for cutting ribbon and 8 for cutting craft paper) Scotch Permanent Glue Stick (for attaching craft paper) Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue (for gluing the flowers) Instructions: 1. Wrap a box in cream paper. 8
5. Cut a piece of cream ribbon long enough to wrap around the box 2 times. Note: Ribbon measurements are approximate. The lengths may have to be adjusted slightly based on the size of the box used. 6. Wrap the ribbon around the box and tie a knot. 7. Trim the ends to matching lengths, cutting them into a V and bending them to form a nice shape. 8. Using the Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, apply glue to the bottom of one of the large flowers and attach to the box on top of the ribbon, at a slight angle near the knot, on the side without the tails. Repeat on the opposite side of the box with the remaining large flower. 9
9. Apply glue to the end of a bunch of small flowers and slide under one of the large flowers between the flower and the ribbon tails. Repeat with the other bunches of small flowers on all sides of the gift. 10
