1 The Bird of Paradise Napkin Fold Fold the napkin in half Fold the napkin in quarters Fold the napkin in half diagonally, creating a triangle Orient the triangle so the open tip is facing away from you

2 The Bird of Paradise Napkin Fold Fold the right corner diagonally towards you laying it down along the centreline of the triangle making a new tip pointing towards you Stage 7 Do the same with the left corner fold it diagonally towards you and press it down next to the previous fold Stage 8 Fold the two wings that you have just made in stages 6 and 7 under so that you have your original triangle shape back. Stage 9 Fold the triangle in half by bringing the centre seam towards you and allowing the ends to fall. 0 While holding the base firmly to keep your folds together, pull up the four flaps created by the napkin corners.

3 The Crown Napkin Fold Fold the napkin in half diagonally Orient the napkin so the open ends are pointing away from you Fold the right-corner up so that the point rests directly on top of the middle-corner. The edge of this new flap should lay on the centre line of the napkin. Repeat step four on the other side, bringing the left-most corner up to meet the middlecorner, creating a diamond shape. Flip the whole napkin over from left to right.

4 The Crown Napkin Fold Fold the bottom of the napkin up about 2/4's of the way and press this fold down well. Stage 7 Fold the bottom of the napkin up about 2/4's of the way and press this fold down well. Stage 8 Curl the left and right sides of the napkin up so they meet in the middle and tuck one into the other. Stage 9 Stand it up and tug at it where needed to even it up and round it out.

5 The Diamond Napkin Fold Fold the napkin in half and orient the open end towards you Fold the napkin into quarters Fold the top-most layer of the napkin in half diagonally up to the left Fold the next layer of the napkin in the same way stopping slightly before the last fold for a staggered effect.

6 The Diamond Napkin fold Repeat by folding the next layer of the napkin into a point just before the last one Stage 7 Repeat the last process keeping the folds as uniform as possable Stage 8 Fold both sides of the napkin under and in to create an even staggered diamond effect.

7 The Fan Napkin Fold Fold the napkin in half and orient the open end towards you Fold the napkin like an accordion starting at either narrow ends. Leave one end with 2-3 inches of unfolded napkin to support the standing fan Fold the napkin in half with the accordion folds on the outside. Grasp the unfolded corners where they meet on the open ends and fold them diagonally, tucking them under the accordion folds. Open up and stand straight.

8 The Pouch Napkin Fold Fold the napkin in half and orient the open end toward you Fold the napkin into quarters Orient the napkin so the open corner is facing away and to the left Fold the top most layer of the napkin in half diagonally and press it down.

9 The Pouch Napkin Fold Turn the napkin over so that the open corner is now facing away and to the right. Stage 7 Fold the right side back about 1/3 of the way and press down. Stage 8 Fold the left side back also about a 1/3 of the way and press. Stage 9 Turn the napkin over and insert the cutlery.

10 The Pyramid Napkin Fold Fold the napkin in half diagonally Rotate the napkin so the open end faces away from you Fold the right end up to meet the far corner, ensuring the edge of this new fold lays on the centerline as shown. Repeat the last step with the left side, folding the left tip to the far corner, creating a diamond shape with a seam running down the centre.

11 The Pyramid Napkin Fold Turn the napkin over, keeping the open end facing away from you. Stage 7 Fold the napkin in half by bringing the farthest point of the diamond up and back to the nearest point. Stage 8 Turn the napkin over again, this time keeping the open end facing towards you. Stage 9 Fold the napkin along the centre seam and you have a neat, sturdy pyramd.
