MAIN GROUP Output current Indicators Display range : 0 ~ 60 A Function related : F35 Displays the output current level of the drive. It is necessary to confirm the drive capacity setting before its operation. It displays correct current LY if the drive setting (F35) and the capacity shown on the nameplate match exactly the same. Fault Indicator The kinds of trip : Oc, OLt, Ov, Lv, OH, EtH, Ext, CPU Function related : F35, F43, F44, H1 It shows <non> during normal run as shown above. When a fault takes place, the keypad displays the level of trip, frequency, and current data that were recorded at the time of fault. See the contents of the drive trip and its measure for more details. Direction setting Setting range : F (Forward ), r (Reverse) Function related : F2 It is valid only when F2 is set to <0> (Key). On the contrary, if F2 is set to <1> or <2>, then the direction of the motor is decided by FX/RX terminal input. 26

FUNCTI GROUP Function Group 1 Frequency setting mode Setting range : 0 (Keypad), 1 (Terminal) Function related : F18 ~ F22 0 : Target frequency reference set via keypad. 1 : Target frequency reference set by external signal input via V1 and I terminals. Refer to F18 to F22 description for more information about the analog control. Run, Stop mode Setting range : 0 (Key), 1 (Terminal), 2 (Terminal) Function related : H3 ~ H9 0 : Initiate Run sequence by using the keypad (RUN and STOP/RESET). 1 : Fx = Run Forward Direction Rx= Run Reverse Direction Fx and Rx= No Drive Output 2 : Fx= Run Forward Direction Rx= Run Reverse Direction Fx and Rx= Run Forward Direction Output Freq. 28 FUNCTI GROUP 1 Starting frequency, Maximum frequency, Base frequency Setting range : 0.01 ~ 5.00 Hz Starting frequency : Initial output frequency of the drive. Setting range : 40.0 ~ 400 Hz Maximum frequency : The maximum drive output frequency.! Caution: Be sure not to exceed rotating speed allowed by motor. Setting range : 40.0 ~ Max. Freq. Drive rated volts Base frequency : Frequency at maximum drive output voltage. Note: When the value of maximum frequency is Starting freq. Base freq. Max. freq. changed, related data will be regulated according to the new value entered. Note: It is possible to run the drive only if those functions related to the frequency (except for F24, F26, F32, H15) are set to a higher value than that of starting frequency. V/F pattern selection Setting range : 0 (Linear), 1(2.0), 2 (User V/F) Function related : F8, F9,F14 ~ F17 0 : Use Preset constant torque curve which has a constant ratio of the output voltage and the output frequency. It is used for conveyor and packing facilities. 28

FUNCTI GROUP 1 1 : Use preset variable torque curve which has a square reduction(2.0) of the output voltage and the output frequency. It is used for fan and pump, etc. 2 : Used for special purpose. It is possible for the users to set the ratio of the output voltage and the output frequency voluntarily. It is also possible to set 2nd points of the frequency and the voltage between the Starting frequency and the Base frequency. Therefore, four points of User V/F pattern in total can be constructed. See from F14 to F17 for more details. Output volts[v] 100% Output volts [V] 100% base freq. bas e freq. << 0 : Linear >> << 1 : 2.0 >> Hold time Range : 0.0 ~ 10.0 sec Function related : F28 When the operation command is, the drive starts to accelerate after the output of DC braking voltage (F28) with the preset hold time. It is used for motor in null rotation or lift load for the acceleration. Output volts DC Braking Voltage Output freq. Hold time RUN 29

FUNCTI GROUP 1 Torque boost ( FWD, REV ) Setting range : 0 ~ 20% Function Related : F6 It is possible to set the value of forward and reverse boost separately. This is valid only when V/F pattern (F6) is in Linear or 2.0, while it is not applicable in User V/F pattern. It is used for the hoist load that requires higher-than-normal starting torque boost at low speed..! Warning: If boost value is set too high, it can cause the motor to overheat Accel. pattern, Decel. pattern. Setting range : 0 ( Linear), 1 ( S Curve ) Function related : H10, H11 By selecting the S curve mode, the drive will put out smooth ramp output which will result in less motor brake wear at the time of its release. It is possible to set the accelerating and decelerating pattern separately. If it is set to S curve, it can make accelerating time about 10% longer than actual accelerating and decelerating time. The 2 nd accelerating and decelerating time (H10, H11) also can be set to above pattern. Output req. S Curve Linear Accel. time 30 Decel. time

FUNCTI GROUP 1 Output voltage adjustment Output volts 100 % Setting range: 50 ~ 110 % Function related : F5 The drive output voltage can be adjusted to match the motor specification. It is possible to use this feature only if the operating motor has lower voltage requirement than that of voltage source. base freq. 50 % Stop mode selection Setting range : 0 ( Stop by Decel.), 1 ( Stop by DC brake), 2 (Coast to Stop) Function related : dec ( Main Group), H11, F27 ~ F30 0 : The drive decelerates according to dec value in Main Group or to the decelerating time set in H11. 1 : Drive decelerates according to the preset deceleration time until the output reaches down to DC Brake Frequency programmed. Then DC Brake is applied resulting a quick stop for a programmed DC Braking Time. (See from F27 to F30 for more details.) 2 : No drive output is generated to the motor.
