2 - Product features. ransmitter he transmitter is formed by a hand-held unit having or function buttons, a "n/horn" button and an emergency stop palmswitch. he unit's highly adaptable design allows for installation, in each location, of 5 different types of function buttons as described below : - ne-step pushbutton (single speed) - wo-step pushbutton (double speed) - otary switch with fixed positions - otary switch with fixed positions - otary switch with positions with auto. return wo parameters can be easily adapted to the environment by a trained operator : ow n ( function buttons) n n Function button labels perating radio frequency Duration of temporization for «dead man» function (Automatic shutdown of remote control in case of prolonged non use) ow n ( function buttons) n n hese operations are performed by procedures implementing buttons n, n, the emergency stop palmswitch and the «n/horn» button, with no need to open the transmitter or receiver. he change of parameter can be however locked. he electronic key contains all the parameters of the controlled receiver, it is possible to use an auxiliary transmitter only with the electronic key and a validation procedure. «/ Horn» button range indicator light «battery charge level + diagnostic» Stop palmswitch button Handle for belt fastening clip or removable shoulder strap ransmitter lectronic key location of electronic key Green indicator light «+ diagnostic». transmitter function button labels he various button functions are identified by means of adhesive labels placed in the recesses provided in the transmitter unit housing at each button location. he labels are supplied in the form of sheets with the various labels you will need for your application. Simply choose the labels corresponding to your configuration. eference : W0 * Kit of 6 colored labels, «movements», for two-step pushbuttons (double speed) eference : W07 * Kit of 90 black/white labels, «movements, special functions and customization» for pushbuttons and switches eference : W05 Kit of 8 white blank labels, «customization» + 8 transparent protecting labels. 3 . eceiver he receiver is formed by a basic PCB comprising 6 control relays. he basic board systematically comprises : «Horn» relay (active when the transmitter «n/horn» button is pressed, not auto-maintained) safety relays (active when the transmitter «n/horn» button is pressed, auto-maintained until passive or active stop) DF I module terminal strips (for option «start up by infrared validation) Green indicator light : «Power indicator» ed indicator light : «Wrong identity code + diagnostic» Green indicator light : «adio link established and diagnostic» Cover «Power supply and I DF module (option)» passage F F 6 5 K S S Safety relay n Safety relay n Fixed antenna (possibility of using a BC plug-in antenna with kit ref.: W0) Cable gland «Control» Fuses «Power supply» - Dimensions K relay : «Horn» elay terminal strips (see wiring diagram, page 7) Control relays ed indicator lights : «relay states» Power supply terminal strips ransmitter eceiver I module DF (for option «start up by infrared validation», see description in following page) = xø5 90 =5 0 0 Industrial support charger Ci-B Power supply adapter CC (Charge voltage of the transmitter internal battery : between 5 and 6VDC) CC (0VAC/5VDC with uro and K plugs) 0 60 CC (n DI rail VDC/5VDC ) ~,80 m CC (-VDC/6VDC vehicle plug) Series / 70 H-0 revision0,70 m
4 électr onique - Safety aspects and optional functions he remote controls implement numerous safety features, in particular : ransmitter / receiver communication safety features: Permanent radio link : by its non-directional design and insensitivity to the presence of obstacles, the operator is protected from exposure to handling risks during precision manoeuvres and movements. ach transmitter+receiver pair has its own specific identity code. Hamming distance (minimum number of bits that differ between messages that are different) of. ransmitter safety feature: An active priority general shutdown command is generated when the «stop palmswitch button» is pressed. An electronic key limits access to the system to authorised persons only. An indicator light indicates an alarm in the event of an insufficiently charged battery. A «dead man» function shuts down the transmitter after a pre-programmed time period ( to 98 mn or to 99s) when no controls have been generated. his function can be disabled at any time to meet specific needs. Buttons protected mechanically against unintentional actions. eceiver safety features: A passive shutdown device shuts down the system if the radio link is jammed. mergency stop Performance evel P d per IS 89- (Cat. per 95-) is ensured by redundant control of the emergency stop circuit and use of guided contact safety relays. Contradictory commands can be interlocked electrically.. ption «Start up by I validation» Functional safety feature: Start-up sequences are implemented to ensure safe operation by a trained, experienced operator. 55 ms response time compatible with the movement speeds of equipment controlled. Accessory: An industrial type support charger (ref.: Ci-B) equipped with power supply adapter CC, allowing the reload of the transmitter internal battery and the transmitter storage when it is not used. ptional: Safety feature requiring I validation to start up a remote controlled equipment can be used (see.). - o start the unit, the operator is required to point the transmitter toward the DF I module installed on the equipment to be controlled (see positioning below). his ensures an error-free match-up between the transmitter and the equipment to be controlled. - he I start-up field of action has a range of 0 to 0m (see Fig. A). - he link can be extended up to x0m, i.e. 0m in all (DF- original link = 0m) by means of the DW0 accessory comprising a shielded cable and its connector. IMPA : the wiring of the DF I module must be separate from the power cables and all other sources which may generate interference (power regulator, for example). 5 5- Compatibility Possible functioning of a transmitter with a D receiver from our D series (see data sheet 0) or with an XD (*) receiver from our XD series (see data sheet 80). Possible functioning of a D transmitter from our D series (see data sheet 0) or an XD (*) transmitter from our XD series (see data sheet 80) with a receiver.! (*)= his case of use implies that the series transmitter or receiver should be kept out of the explosive atmosphere. nly the XD series (AX approved) transmitter or receiver can be used in an explosive atmosphere. 6- echnical characteristics 6. eceiver Mechanical and environment withstand characteristics Housing ABS, grey - IP65 Weight. kg (approx.)
