This component has been judged on the basis of the required spacings in the Standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment, CSA/UL , Second Edition, dated March 27, 2007, including Am 1:2001 and Am 2:2014Sub-clause 2.10, which would cover the component itself if submitted for Listing. 2. All secondary output circuits are SELV up to 48 V dc and are not hazardous energy levels. 3. The terminals and connectors are suitable for factory wiring only. 4. Magnetic devices TR1 constructed of R/C insulation system Designated Class F (155 C). The auxiliary transformer is a planar type constructed of an (UL Approved printed wiring board material V-2 or better) rated 130 C. Consideration for conducting the temperature on the transformer needs to be measured in the end product use. 5. The equipment has been evaluated for use in a Pollution Degree 2 environment. 6. The input voltage rating specified contains the maximum and minimum voltage tested, no additional tolerances were considered. 7. The temperature test was conducted by monitoring the exposed heat sink temperature as rated in the manufacturer's specifications. The S Series was maintained at 95 C and the K Series at 85 C. Consideration should be given to measure the hotspot so that the specified maximum temperature (95 C for the S- and 85 C for the K- Series) will not be exceeded. 8. The equipment is an enclosed, Class I switch mode power supply with universal AC input and DC input, and single/dual DC voltage output for building-in. This report covers multiple models and all comments / tests apply to all models unless otherwise indicated. Testing was conducted on various models as indicated. 1.5, 3.2.5; Power supply cord set. A power supply cord set is not provided with the power supply. A power supply cord set, complying with the national regulations of the country in which the product is to be sold, shall be provided with the end-use equipment ; Safety instructions. No. DE evaluated to the requirements of IEC :2005 (Second Edition) + Am 1: Am 2:2013. This test report includes the addition of a new Trade Mark, evaluation of the power supply to the requirements of IT power systems and an engineering evaluation of the Leakage at the output of the PSU. For continuity, data from the original TUV report is included in this report, along with the additional evaluation referenced. The input voltage is fed via an input fuse, an input filter, a rectifier and an inrush current limiter to a single transistor boost converter. This converter provides a sinusoidal input current (IEC/EN , class D equipment) and sources a capacitor with a voltage of VDC. This capacitor sources a single transistor forward converter. Each output is powered by a separate secondary winding on the main transformer. The resultant voltages are rectified and their ripples smoothed by a power choke and outputs filter. The control logic senses the main output voltage Uo1 and generates, with respect to the maximum admissible output currents, the control signal for the primary switching transistor.
