Before a load step change will be active and released, the total nonlinear load is disconnected from the US and with a time delay reconnected with the preselected step again. In this way the equipment is not able to proceed in steps as described in clause The reason for this control of the non linear load bank is made to ensure that the inside used DC capacitors are precharged and discharged in a secure way.
