Alejandro Borgese, Argentine photographer, has been an explorer of the natural wonders of the world. He has devoted himself to the passion for light and finding light in our everyday life. There are few things that enthuses the sight more than an image that tells a thousand words. And if that image captures the origin of life, the senses are moved and the intellect is illuminated at once. And it sees. After shooting against the clock as a commercial/advertising photographer, in 2010 he finally decided to spend more time with nature photography. His most acclaimed project to photograph the beauty and mystery of The Everglades National Park became his dream come true. Over 32,000 photos taken during an entire year of work transformed into an extraordinary book, published by Lunwerg. 4 EVERGLADES NOVember 2012 ALejandro BOrgese brings you a fantastic, never experienced, phototour at the Florida Everglades for all lovers of nature and wildlife photography As the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States, the Everglades National Park boasts rare and endangered species, an extraordinary ecosystem with a multitude of habitats for animals, plants, wildlife and landscape. Discover this tremendous diverse environment with acclaimed photographer Alejandro Borgese, who has being photographing and documenting the park for years. With the support of many early conservationists, scientists, and other advocates, Everglades National Park was established in 1947 to conserve the natural landscape and prevent further degradation of its land, plants, and animals. We will run small groups (limited to 6 participants), during 4 days of intense adventure, running from November, 2012 to Abril, If you love nature and wildlife, grab your cameras and join us in the unique photographic experience. Participants will be introduced to many photography techniques according to different scenarios and situations encountered throughout the park visit, including but not limited to: sunrise, scenes and landscape, aerial shots, closeups, wildlife and macro photography. In addition to being able to shoot side by side to one of the most acclaimed nature photographers, participants will also have the opportunity to share their beautiful work and create an impressive portfolio of images reviewed by Alejandro Borgese.

Fotomiles is happy to assist with your flight arrangements and transfer from Miami to Key Largo hotel. Please request a quote at registration. Check in for three-night stay at Key Largo hotel. Welcome cocktail, introductions and workshop orientation after 4pm. Afternoon will be spent going through all important information about the park and the workshop in order for participants to get acquainted with location and local regulations Dinner at hotel (dinner not included). day 2 FRIDAY, NOV 9 Photo tour at the park with private vehicle, driver and guide. Group meets at hotel lobby at 4:45am. Early breakfast on the way. The group will enjoy sunrise scenes and explore very important sites around the Flamingo Visitor Center by trekking and boating and will learn different photography techniques along the day: wildlife, close-up, scenes. Dinner at hotel. day 3 SAturday, NOv 10 Photo tour at the park with private vehicle, driver and guide. Group meets at hotel lobby at 10am. The journey continues after breakfast. Participants will have an amazing opportunity to practice their skills in wildlife, close-up and scenes, photographing the most beautiful places in the park areas between Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center and Flamingo. Return to the hotel in the evening after sunset. Farewell dinner. Optional guided helicopter tour is available early in the morning of Day 3 (30min flight, 2 participants per flight, price not included). Please submit your request at registration. day 4 Sunday, NOV 11 Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out at 12pm Portfolio review and photography lecture with Alejandro Borgese (available upon request) Transfer back to Miami. Photo tour cost per person $2,200 based upon minimum of 2 paying participants. With a limited number of 6 participants, we can focus on a more personal and collaborative experience. meals not included in itinerary; activities listed as optional, or those taken on your own personal medical and travel insurance any expenses of a personal nature, such as room service, laundry, beverages not included with meals, medical expenses, film or processing, any activities not specified in tour itinerary or listed as optional, or any items not listed in what is included Deposits, cancellations and refunds A non-refundable deposit of $95 per person is required with reservation, which is applicable toward land service purchases (e.g. hotel, car rental, tours, land transfers) for the proposed tour. Payment in full is required when bookings are made less than 15 days before the start date. Fotomiles reserves the right to cancel your reservation if payment is not received when due. TECHNIQUES AND MAIN ATTRACTIONS The Everglades National Park offers an immense diversity of animals, plants and natural wonders for all kinds of photography, such us: - Wildlife: birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, aquatic, insects - Close-up: wildflower, tree, plants, shrub - Scenes: sunrise, sunset, moonscape, bird rookeries, alligator nest, bird nests - Aerial: coastal marsh, mangrove, cypress, coastal prairie, freshwater slough, pine fresh waterland, freshwater marl prairie, hardwood hammock If a participant wishes to cancel they must send notification via and in writing to Fotomiles. At the time we receive your notification, the following per person charges apply: All tour package costs are non-refundable less than 15 days prior to departure. All cancellations will be assessed the $95 per person non-refundable deposit (i.e. service fee). Refunds for services that are voluntarily not used by you cannot be made.
