2 Once again, Muddy Creek artists invite you to visit us and our studios in lovely southern Anne Arundel County. This year on the tour are 17 artists, working in 14 studios located amidst the farmland and shoreline communities of Chesapeake Bay country. How to Plan Your Trip The 14 studios on this tour will be open during the hours of 11 AM and 5 PM on the weekend of September 23-24, You will be hard pressed to visit all of the studios open for the tour, though this is what some people prefer to do. All studios are located on the basic map of southern Anne Arundel County on the back cover of this guide. Additionally, all artists have individual directory listings on the following tour guide pages, showing you a sample of their work, their addresses, and contact information should you have any questions or need some navigational help during your tour. We suggest you start by looking through this guide, and choosing which artists you want to visit on your tour. Next, plan a basic route, using the cursory map on the back cover. If you can, take advantage of the GPS features of your automobile or cellular phone. This is a rural area, though, and sometimes GPS navigational software fails to locate addresses with perfect accuracy. We ve also placed distinctive road signs along our local roads to help you find your destinations. In a pinch, do not hesitate to phone artists for help finding their studios.
