1 Hickory on the Green Homeowners Association Development Committee REVISED FEBRUARY 12, 2012 NOTE: February 12, 2012, revision changes the paint color for the front doors of Building1 to Plum Brown, and Building 2 to Double Chocolate. The following pages outline the approved changes to front door and garage door paint colors. Included in this spec are the Sherwin-Williams paint formulas for each of the approved colors. The following map shows the location of each unit and assigns building numbers to each building for ease in identification. If a homeowner needs to paint a door, all he/she needs to do is to call CMS with a unit number. CMS should be able to cross-reference that unit number to the appropriate building and the correct paint colors and Sherwin-Williams formulas. Desert Tan Double Chocolate 2011 NOTES: 1. IMPORTANT: With the exception of Plum Brown, the color names above ARE NOT Sherwin-Williams color names. The Sherwin-Williams formula must be given to any homeowner needing to paint a door. The homeowner will then need to go to any Sherwin-Williams store to have the color mixed to the formula. The formulas are copied below. In addition, large paint chips will be provided to CMS separately, each of which has the Sherwin-Williams paint formula on its reverse side. 2. Existing Garage Doors: The insert that is present on the newer configuration garage doors should be painted the same as the door itself. 3. Existing Front Doors: The grids on the front doors should be painted the same color as the front door except where the grid is enclosed between the panes of glass or is mounted on the inside of the door and cannot be painted. 4. General Comments: a. CMS will have to notify the painters of any replacement doors that should NOT be painted (for example, Roxanne Squillante will have a new door by the time the painting starts this year. Her unit is due to be painted. The garage door SHOULD NOT be painted since it will already have the factory paint color on it). Any new Page 2 of 6

3 replacement doors may not have to be painted on the 3-year painting cycle. CMS will need to keep track of the doors not requiring painting. b. We all need to be aware that for a period of time, we may have a bit of a inconsistency in paint colors throughout HOG until we finish the full 3-year painting cycle. For example, if someone in a building not due to be painted until 2012 needs to have a garage door replaced before then, it should be replaced with a new replacement door in the correct color as spec d by this document.
